Regardless why, it is something that is admirable about CDC. Accountability. If Clairborne is doing shit to get in trouble, then he certainly is not thinking of the team and does not want to put the team first. Good for CDC!

Jalen sucks returning punts. When Tyran went down, we lost our PR edge. We don't have anyone on the roster, short of Herron, that has that first quick step & speed like Tyran had. Or if we do, the coaches haven't found it / seen it yet.

I'm sure that covers a multitude of sins. Probably from being late to practice or a meeting to something much more serious. Seeing as it's a one game suspension, it can't be that bad.

Tyran in all of the fall scrimmages was a terror returning punts - as I mentioned, the most exciting returner I have seen since the early 80's (CLASHER) - and maybe Hoost in the early-mid 2000's (just because he was fearless).

Jalen does have stats though:
Nebraska: 2 returns for 13 yards.
Idaho: 3 returns for 4 yards.

It seems we have these short suspensions every year in the beginning of the season before we play weaker teams. It can be any little b.s. thing. It's probably to motivate the players to not do any little b.s. things later in the season when we are playing conference games.

Could be, as that penalty is 10% for the first offense, and the season for the second.

But not sure it matters - is what it is.
