Christensen

Ok, I gotta say, Christensen is my #1. But here is my concern. Remember way back when? When Wyoming had the no huddle offense? Dam, the fans hated it...and crucified the coaching staff for having it. Now several teams have it in place. Is it a fad? Or, will the fans bitch about it again? I personally liked it. It kept the defense on the field for a long time without allowing them to make substitutions. But that is just me.

I think, if it works, the fans in general will keep their yaps shut. It is all about winning...and if that is happening, not sure anything (style wise) matters.

I don't think it was a problem with the no-huddle per say, just Cockhill's implementation of it. We did beat Virginia with it, but once everyone else figured out it was all the same stuff, it wasn't effective and limited our offense.

True, true. Cockhills version was not very well designed and was way over simplified. But, we also tried it during the Dimel years as well and everyone hated it and bitched about it then. That is when we were winning 7 or 8 games consistently.

I hate it when we lose with it, love it when we win with it. If Cockhill had huddled up on every play on every down the whole season, someone would have bitched about how we never run the no-huddle.
