Minnesota just picked up another commitment for 2015 class. I would say they are definitely out now for Boucher.
Still have one scholarship remaining. The fact that we visited after a big man committed says they still want him.
Minnesota may want Boucher, but does Boucher want Minnesota? Sometimes signing similar players is a turn off to an unsigned guy. That was my point when they signed Lynch.

Understandable, but Minnesota is so thin at PF and C that it might not matter.

After he visits Minnesota and sees the barn, he won't want anything to do with them...haha. JK, but on a serious side, between us, TT, and Minn, Minn has easily the worst arena.

So what's the deal?

Are we keeping this kid in the 307?

Can him, Morris, Conway, James, and Washington provide something we haven't seen the last couple seasons?

I'm pretty sure he isn't coming here. He just visited Texas Tech and is now still going to visit Minnesota and Oregon from what I found on twitter. So looks like it is TT, Oregon, TCU and Minnesota who are his final four.

If Wyoming would have been in the running he would have scheduled a visit. He decided to take a visit to Oregon instead.

We can close this thread.

That's too bad. With the lack of upperclass numbers, I would of thought we looked attractive for someone with his credentials to come in and be have a large role on a young team.

Looks like TCU

Wow, of all the schools he could have gone to, he picks probably the worst possible place. While their arena is getting a $65 million dollar renovation, when they are through, it will still only seat 7,000 people. Not sure what he saw there, but it sure wasn't a state of the art facility. Here's a link to the article about their arena.

At least they're finishing their renovations...
