Chiefs are showing strong interest in B. Hill

Has anyone seen an interview with Hill from Wyoming yet? My guess is you probably won't. And I'm not a troll. Since Hill is officially done so am I. :coffee:

:orly:

I've said it before this 2014 has a few diamonds in the rough. Brian Hill, Cj Jennings, Sydney Malauulu, and Nick Smith will be the stats of this class in my opinion. The surprises are going to be Alex Bush, Daniel Vega, Chaves Powell, John Jackson. Remember that I predicted this. -theman12

I have a lot of confidence in this team. But I also understand that some people don't want to get their hopes up. Since I'm a Wyo fan I hope those people are pleasantly surprised this year. -theman12

Keep in mind I'm not saying he didn't play through injury as I'm sure he and every other running back plays through injury but to say he was refused treatment, that he had a broken wrist that required surgery, and that coach only cared about himself is probably a little too far.

If he broke his wrist and played through the pain and had great production still it seems like that would not hurt his draft stock but would actually increase it as it shows an ability to play through immense pain and still be a feature back.

I still don't know it's possible only because it seems like the strength in his hands would be massively compromised and he would have been a fumble machine but I am not seeing how it would hurt his draft stock

Haha okay I was a fan of the team Brian was on. So what does this prove? I find it weird how two articles have been released with hill saying he fractured his wrist against and no one on this board has said anything. But I guess no one wants to accept the truth

Maybe you ought to actually read the board before making false statements. Not sure what you are trying to prove anyways.

Again, the fact remains: the head coach doesn't have the ability to refuse an x-ray or any other medical treatment for a player on their team. I know some people think that the head coaches are in charge of every facet of the team, but that isn't entirely true. Even Nick Saban doesn't have the ability to override a team doctor or athletic trainer's medical advice. Again, they can suggest or urge a certain path, but they do not have the ability to dictate anything medically.

Sorry let me reword it then. Bohl urged him not to get an x ray. And if Brian would've known he would've thought about his future and taken the surgery. He knew he was leaving all along. He's been telling his teammates that since his freshman year. Just go ask one of them. He just didn't want to take attention from the team.

Hill said in his interview he has a bone fracture in his wrist but it didn't require surgery. He also goes on to say he will let the team dr make the determination if he should have it.

It's not that no one believed the injury existed it's that no one believed that coach Bohl refused him treatment which we all know is horseshit since a coach doesn't have that kind of power.

In the 90s I would say a coach could have gotten away with that but they didn't have the type of required medical staff on a team 20 years ago.

I guess it proves you aren't really a Wyoming fan. Oh well, we can't all be so lucky. Either way, you stated "has anyone seen an interview with Hill from Wyoming" - and yes, we all have, kind of. Brandon Foster put out an article with quotes on 5/1. And yes, it appears Hill had a fractured wrist...but played through it (although he clearly fucked up and did "something" to miss the first quarter of the bowl game). Hippa typically keeps most fans from knowing anything medical related with the team / players anyway, so it maybe comes as no surprise (as to why nobody on the board has said anything).

I wish Brian Hill the best NFL career possible, and am grateful I was able to cheer for him while he was playing for my favorite team. Coaches come and go. Players come an go. Real fans stay for a lifetime. I could never enjoy the jersey swapping life of being a free agent fan of a player.

Was at Hill's draft party. He's sliding because he fractured his wrist against New Mexico. Bohl refused him an X-Ray because he knew Brian would do surgery. And 300 more carries wouldn't have helped his future. It would've just helped Bohl. They haven't even talked since he declared. A lot of bad blood
Dang Dino, I didn't realize you and Brian were close again after you called his family out on twitter.

Sorry I followed the kid since high school. And Brian was suspended for missing curfew that Saturday when the game was played on Wednesday. More players were late they just didn't get caught and Brian refused to tell because of his loyalty to his teammates. He knows it was a mistake but it's hard to call that a fuck up. Especially when most of you probably did worse in college. Let's try to remember that these players are kids and like to had fun just like we did.
