Chandler Garrett Transferring?

If this is all true, he probably told Dino in confidence intending for it not to come out until after the season. I've seen Dino working his schmoozing magic on a number of players and their families...he is a snake and if I'm the S.I.D. office I revoke his credentials immediately.

If I'm Bohl and I hear this, I immediately dismiss him from the team; no ifs, ands, or buts!

Was referring to their years going into next season, which was why I added a year to Smith. Didn't realize Szpor was playing, so thanks for letting me know that. Obviously he'll be a sophomore next year then.

If and when Leppke puts some weight on I could see him being an asset. Went back and looked at highlights for both freshman QB'S and he has some Allenesque qualities with his scrambling abilities and run game. Another comparison that came to mind was Palandech from UNLV.

Considering how quickly the statement changed, and how Bohl now sad Garrett left the team for personal reasons, it does sound a bit like Chandler didn't expect Dino would release this information quite yet.

Good luck to him! Being a back up QB or back up Kicker must be very difficult. You're basically working your ass off, just to have the best seat in the house on game day. The timing sucks as the team needs no distractions, but also sucks for him as now he won't get his MWC Championship or Bowl Game ring. Leaving with a couple games remaining does sound like something that got out too soon.
