Chances of the stadium being 100% by 9/6/25...

Looking at that today, after a quick trip to Laradise, I just don't see it being completed. Or it will be half-assed, like the AA, cutting corners to get it done.

Anyone else share my sentiments?

Made a quick visit on May 24 and I could see the press box being usable by the opening day game but would not be surprised if some stuff is less than 100% complete.

There's not a chance in hell that it will be completed, and it's going to cost the GC a substantial amount per day that it takes past the contracted deadline.

You think UW actually will enforce that and try to collect? My experience is that they are bark, and no bite when it comes to things like this (the awesome AA remodel for instance).

It's probably highly dependent on which part isn't finished on time.

If it results in UW being able to sell less tickets to home games, then they are likely to try to collect some form of liquidated damages, even if it isn't the full amount listed in the contract. If it's just things like the bathrooms not being finished, I doubt they try to collect. I guess they could try and collect the cost of bringing in portable restrooms, but Laramie and UW have a good working relationship with Sampson, and they won't be willing to ruin it over something "small".
