Chambers

TVW has been a true professional in a day and age where that is hard to come by.

Looking like the Chambers news is true and as shitty as that is, I love rooting for a guy like TVW.

3 of the last 4 on the road? Timing/remaining schedule couldn't get much worse. 6-6 might miss a bowl game again this year depending on the number of bowl eligible teams.

7220 is an awesome and legitimate site.

Yea, if this wasn’t true, the University almost assuredly would have already dispelled the rumor through the media. The news got out before Bohl planned to discuss it at Monday’s press conference.

For what it's worth I read that the P5 will be short on bowl eligible teams and that better G5 teams would slide into fill slots. I think 6 wins gets us to a bowl this year. I still think 8 is a possibility. We have beat AF with a backup two years in a row and Utah State got trounced last night and was clearly severly overrated before the season. As always anything can happen against CSU.

TVW is capable. I still think we take CSU and possibly Utah State.

He also played well against AFA last year, so who knows....

If there ever was a time for the WRs to step up, it would be from here on out. TVW, while he can run, is a far more efficient passer then a threat as a runner.

It's official:

For being minor, the rest of the season seems a bit excessive. I've had several meniscal tears, and even a partially torn acl. Not saying it's meniscus, but either way it seems excessive.

They are putting a potentially great season in the hands of TVW and I pray like hell he is up to the task along with the receivers.

WestWYOPoke probably knows more about this than most, but I've seen several football players in college and the pros come back from a minor repair in 4 to 6 weeks. Maybe it is just an abundance of caution on Bohl's part and possible that Chambers could come back before season end (bowl game should Wyoming get one).

I do think TVW has the tools necessary to get another 2 wins out of the remaining 4 games if the WR's run better routes and hang on to the ball, and the line gives him time to throw.

That sucks. Must be a small tear maybe where it's hard to see. My meniscus tear healed in 6 weeks once they found it.

Kind of hard to tell based on the limited information they're giving out. Based on the tweet saying cartilage damage but no structural damage, that would lead me to think 1 of 2 injuries: either a meniscus, as mentioned by others, or significant damage to the articular cartilage.

If it's cartilage and they had to do a micro- fracture repair, you're looking at 6-8 months.

If it's meniscus there's a large time range. It's most likely not a menisectomy (removal of the torn portion) as that is only a 3-6 week recovery. Beyond that there are at least 2 different kinds of repair. One takes at least 8 weeks, the other is closer to 6 months. Severity, location and type if tear would determine which procedure was done.

And then again, maybe it's something totally different and they are keeping it quiet. Definitely a bummer either way.

If I get drunk enough tonight, I’m going to convince myself that we’re playing Boise st. They will spend all week prepping for TVW and a completely healthy Chambers will emerge onto the field to tear them up on the ground and through the air
