Chad Muma

I didn't get a chance to watch the senior bowl. Was just wondering how he did? Also just figures we could have a thread for when draft day gets here to put it in. Between Logan and now Chad we've put out some good linebackers. Forgot about wacha and Mark N too. Wyoming linebacker U. Anyways just curious how Chad did and how his draft profile is looking.

Chad finished with 9 tackles (5 solo) which was three more than any other player in the game. He was a stud in there.

Dang nice! Thanks for the info. Is he going to the combine? 2nd-3rd round would be awesome.

Word is oddly quiet on the combine front this year. So far the list of confirmed attendees are not any players that you would expect. We'll have to wait until the date gets closer to see the list.

Saw an ESPN mock draft having Muma go mid-2nd round. If he's getting that kind of respect i would think he's a certain combine invite.

Full combine invite list was released today. Muma is on it.

Kiper is spot on regarding productivity in college especially at the LB position.

Hopefully Muma has a good combine which should set him up somewhere in the top 3 rounds.

Just need Buffalo to draft him. Buffalo needs to get all the former Pokes so I only have to pay attention to one NFL team.

I don’t think it hurts Chad to be following Logan at all. The nfl will find you

Logan getting to such a high level so quickly has definitely helped Muma's stock.

I agree with the production part as well ragtime. That tells you the kid has instincts. Edmunds for the Bills is a freak athlete but just bad at linebacker. He gets manipulated by qbs eyes easy takes bad angles, just not very good at linebacker.
It's cool to see chad getting noticed like he is. Hope he has a good combine.

I would disagree with Edmunds being not good at LB. He’s 30th in tackles and is a solid LB. He just isn’t a play maker. He tackles the guys he’s suppose to tackle and generally is in the right place but he’s not out there turning the momentum of the game with a play. I recall the tv announcers recalling how edmunds doesn’t have many INTs or they wanted him to make more plays. Something like that. If you rebuilding a D, you couldn’t go wrong with Edmunds

But in a 4-2-5 defense, which is pretty much what the Bills run, you do need a playmaker at linebacker. Especially since there's only 2 of them.

The bills were a top D with edmunds so I’m not really sure the stats say you’d be correct. Of course, any D would be better with playmakers at all positions. I’m not sure how much he’s making and where his contract is but the question is, can you upgrade at the position while saving money especially since the bills have one more season before they start taking a 30mil cap hit from Allen.

They were a "top D" against some awful teams. A paper tiger. Against teams that had an offensive pulse, especially when White went down, they got shredded all too often.
