CFB Picks - Wyoming

I'm on an OK sports radio station on Fridays at 7am doing a segment called Chick Picks, where an on air guy and I each pick 3 games against the spread. For one of my picks over the next several weeks, I want to pick one of y'all's games. Help me decide which one might be best. (I'm 7-2 so far, and my opponent is 3-6... I'd like to keep winning!)

if the air force spread stays below a touchdown i'd take that one

Especially since Smith is clear to go.
 
Seems like any of the 3 Wyo games so far would have been good to pick on the spread. And this one should be as well.
 
It doesn't necessarily have to be a cupcake - Im not winning because I've been picking easy games. I've picked a couple of upsets and even just teams not to cover. Does that change your answers?

Well, we've beat the spread 3 weeks running, so there is that.

AFA. Wyo is a couple point favorite, but DC wants to blow them out.

I would pick Wyo for the W and the spread.
 
Bama by 40 seems like too few, I hate, hate big spreads but does anyone think that after last week Bama gives up more than 10 and not score 50?

The problem with this game is that Alabama just had a really big game that they wanted to win against Texas A&M and so they won't be as "up" this week playing CSU and so they will do enough to win the game comfortably but it won't be by 40. They will take it easy this week is my guess. Also since Saban and McElwain are friends I don't think he will want to embarrass him. I think CSU would be a decent bet this week +40. I could see a score like 38-10 or 34-7...something like that.

That's just my opinion of course.

I think Wyoming covers this week since AFA's defense is so bad as long as Brett is mobile.
 
As of now, Utah State is +7 vs. USC. If I were setting the spread on this one, I'd put Utah State at -2, and only that low cuz it's in Cali.

USC does have a good defense, but Chuckie is much more talented than anything they've seen yet this year. And the Trojans offense has been nothing short of abysmal.

In short, take Utah State.

Utah State is going to take it to USC.
USC is lucky it isn't in Logan.

The issue with big spread is that it gives the 2nd & 3rd string guys the chance to play & some coaches don't want to run up the score. I doubt that's an issue for Saban, but that's why I missed the first game I missed - Oklahoma State failed to cover (by 3) because they had all the backup guys in. Totally sucked.
 
Would anybody ever be surprised to see Saban run it up on anybody though? I feel like he would be one to run it up on his own family if he had the chance to do so
 
'Pokes'll cover this weekend. My money will also be on Boise State +3 (money line if i can get it), and Utah +7 (BYU* is abysmal against the spread as a favorite in this series).
 
Some big big spreads this week
Will Vandy will cover a 32.5 point spread
Will Washington will cover a 48.5 point spread
and will Miami cover a 59.5 point spread? Two touchdowns a quarter?
No one doubts they can..but WILL they?

-UNLV wont cover their spread-UNLV has a suspect D-Leathernecks can score in bunches and only lost to Minnesota by 17 after leading most of the game
 
I wouldn't ask homers for their homer picks. There's a few guys here that can pick but not many. Sounds like you are doing fine snowflake.
