I don't know if there are other championship games that day, I don't have the time to look it up, but I think there are.
The MW champ game follows the SEC champ game on the same station.

This is terrific exposure in a great time slot. Everyone will be home or at the bars and it will be on the TV. Following the SEC won't hurt either. The MW has come miles with this new TV deal!

So any residual rollover on fans watching one then the next is unlikely to occur. The best the MWC can hope for is a bunch of promos during the SEC title game, and hope to rope some extra fans in that way.
