CBI banner...

Let's get the players participation medals to go along with banner. That would be bad ass . They tried their best so they deserve one.

Participation medals are when a team LOSES. Check the scoreboard.
 
Watching the previous championship games, there was lots of people at the finals and plenty of excitement. This is better than going home after the AF debacle. Also, how many times have we gone to the CBI and just took a dump?

I can't wait to get my cbi championship t shirt. Fuck. I bet some of you will buy one. Hang the fucken banner in the field house, so recruits don't have to see it.
 
If a PAC 12 school or Big East school can hang that banner why the hell shouldn't we?! Especially if we make a nice run in the NCAA tournament I doubt people will say "oh that stupid championship game last year was pointless ". I swear some people would still bitch if they were hung with a new rope.
 
Dude seriously... If you can't say anything nice just shut up. The team was pretty excited to win. But you weren't there to watch so just go away.

Hmmm, options are to sit at home and watch basketball on TV or prolong the season, get experience, and keep competing....

Might as well keep playing and you might as well play to win. Good for the players and coaches.

Ending an up and down season with a 24 point win is a hell of a lot better than ending it with an Air Force ass beating.

Hang a banner, no need to hold a ceremony for it. Do it in silence.

I do think they stumbled onto something that I hope continues with this ticket exchange thing or whatever it was. Edwards commented that having butts in seats is a big help. Gotta think he'll push for it to continue.

So, basically, you're arguing that winning the CBI was not a positive experience?
 
Hang a banner. Also, I hope they do not put "National Championship" on it like the 2007 WNIT banner reads. Winning a nationally participated in tournament is not the same as a national championship.
 
go ahead and hang it.....just don't make it as prominent as the 1943 national championship banner


while we're at it we should stick a 1934 helms foundation banner as well
