Captains announced

Brett Smith was Captain in all but name all last year.

Luke Ruff and Korey Jones were key pieces for the defense all last year as well.

For Carlson, really good blocker, and a good anchor to have, but I hope he got his snaps back in order.

Captains for the season. Good move on DC's part IMO. Having 4 stable captains can offer a lot to a team.
 
Didn't DC say that he regretted making ACS a captain his sophomore. Thought it was too much?

Probably...I don't remember exactly.

But ACS and Brett Smith are very different. And if DC did infact offer that up, he was just making an excuse...and we all know about excuses.

Tom Burman said that he / UW would "NEVER" pay a coach a million a year once in the national press. Things change. Or you get changed.
