Pokes have made a game of it.
Agreed, and Sundance had to do some coaching.Pretty good win on a neutral floor. I’ve watched Tulane a couple times this season…they seemed on par with a mid tier MWC program.
Shows some real grit and determination to be down by double digits in the second half and come back to get the win. Really like the mentality of this team.
It was 0.9 seconds. We got the ball on the baseline after Tulane airballed a 3 and had a crappy inbounds pass. Agbim fumbled it out of bounds, but the clock didn't start immediately when he touched the ball. After taking 87 different looks at it the refs decided that the time between him touching the ball and the time it hit out of bounds again it was at least 1 second, so the game was over.I watched highlights this morning. What happened at the end of the game? Looked like 9 seconds left and refs. called the game. The announcers sounded surprised.
Agreed, but we needed the home games against the Utah Techs of the world to let the players get some game experience together and for the home fans to see us win. This isn't my favorite schedule by any means, but it's definitely working out the way I think Sunny intended it to.Should be another pretty even match up with Loyola Marymount this evening. Despite their record, they are a pretty good team that will be another tough game on a neutral floor.
This tournament really was perfect for the Pokes - good competition, but not to the level where we stood no chance of winning. In my opinion, these games are way more beneficial for Wyoming basketball than the games at home against teams like Utah Tech, etc.
Pokes turned it over 3 straight times tonight for dunks and it cost them the gameThe only part I don't like is that I turned it off at work when they went down by 10 and had 3 consecutive turnovers. Really liking Sundance. I am digging this team and coach. Great win Pokes! Hope those boys are becoming believers in themselves.
