Can we officially call it game week now?

With 7 days til kickoff for the Pokes, and 5 days for a lot of programs, and even 6 days for some, can we call it game week?
College football is back people! Every fall camp is done, and now official game week preparations are starting!
About time for Thompson to be moved to practice squad for and start pretending to be Taylor Martinez.
Of course we all know Thompson isn't a practice squad player.
He is probably the only player in the program that is hands down a 2nd string player, that can play with the first team at any given time, yet has a high importance on red-shirting.

Pokes appear to be healthy, heading into the first game week of the season.
B-Smith and his deputies Herron, Rufran, and Claiborne along with many others seem to be ready to go.
Brandon Miller is going to be a solid guy for us in the pass and run game, while Wick should be able to do some work on the ground.
O-Line play seems to be pretty good, for our standards. Which overall isn't bad but far from great. The offense is going to be awesome.
Defense, is still a big question mark. They could be good they could be awful again. Only time will tell.
A couple picks off Taylor Martinez would go a long ways in that game and the season.

I posted on the ESPN chat board that it will be much much closer than last time we played. I am so pumped for the game. B-Smith is going to light up the Nebraska secondary. No blinders prediction Nebraska 38-30. Blinders on prediction Wyoming 35-31 with a go ahead TD in the final 1:30.

I hope to god for only one thing.

may the coaching staff design a game-plan that attacks on both sides of the ball. push the ball, take risks, and try to steal momentum. take the leash of Brett, let Puletasi pin his ears back, and don't be afraid to let the wideouts go verticle on 3rd and 2.

build it... and they will come.

on a side note... the player I want to see play the most, is lucas wacha. we haven't had a freshman starting linebacker since dobbs. what is making him special... I want to find out?

Yep the first week of classes is going is going to feel like forever with this game and the season starting this weekend!
