Can we bring back our d-line from last year?

Unless someone has some insight to who's sitting on the bench, I can't see this team significantly improving on defense without growing the DL and I haven't seen any d-linemen sitting on the bench with any size waiting for an opportunity to play?

If we do have some, then they must be freshmen and won't have any experience coming into next year. So, will it be 3 or 4 years before the d-line grows and matures?

strong is a true freshman playing back up at 275lbs and the jucos redshirted and they are 290lbs &305lbs (don't know if they will amount to much, odd to see Jucos redshirt). Mertens is only a freshman and Purcell is a true sophmore and both are probably 265lbs +(I think purcell was listed at 279 last year and this year at 265). Airforce seems to have a stout D every year and they do it with lighter players on the line how come we can't Maybe if we blitzed a linebacker once in a while someone could get to a qb.
