Cameron Coffman MW O-Player of the Week!

Sweet. He had a hell of a game. Only 2 incompletions.

And of the 2, 1 was a dropped pass, the other was caught out of bounds.

Makes me further shrug my shoulders as to why Vigen elected to go ultra conservative the last 25+ minutes of the game, and not put the hammer down. Which seems to always be the case (at least the last 12 years or so).

Yeah. No need for deep shots, but some dink and dunk kind of throws just to keep Nevada's defense honest would not have hurt anything.

100% agreed.

Reminded me of the old DC offense. Play not to loose.

Awesome for Cam though! and Brian keeps pumping yards out. That kid is special.

Anything but Brian Hill right, Brian Hill left and Brian Hill up the middle. A couple passes tossed in there is what was needed to keep Nevada from making it interesting.

Legit question..........any concern about relying on Hill too much? Injury...etc?

Honestly, I think they were shitting their pants (the coaches, that is); "holy crap, we might win. do not lose this now". Granted Gentry was out, but some shorter to intermediate play-action passes would have been enough to keep Nevada a little more honest.

Congrats to Cameron!
