CAL POLY @ WYO

Lame we go down to a FCS team for the first time in History there better be some fucking changes made this is just fucking pathetic. I'm calling it now our seasons done with or without Smith were going to get straight up steam rolled.

I'm so fucking angry right now I can't even see straight wtf is wrong with our coaching staff how can you not be prepared 3 games in and row and not make one fucking change between all 3.
 
Two consecutive weeks that Kirkegaard has an opportunity to win a game for the Pokes on a last minute drive. And FAIL, yep bring on basketball season. Tormey f***ing sucks @$$, get him the hell out of Laramie. There is now way the Pokes should've given up nearly 400 yards to this team. Absolutely disgusting.
 
Time to fire the defensive coach. It's borderline acceptable to score 22 with the backup in for the whole game, considering the best backup bailed last year. It's NOT okay to give up 360 yards to a vanilla FCS team.
 
We gave up 300+ yards went 2/12 on 3rd down and gave up 9/20 for the CP 3rd down conversions how fucking pathetic do you have to be as a player to not realize you are getting straight up embarrassed. I'm obviously not there but give me a fucking break how can you as a defensive player not be fired up and ready to beat the shit out of some people on the field our defense is FUCKING PATHETIC!
 
I'm not blaming this on Capt Kirk. It's a weak ass team that thinks they can only win with one player. I also think we have a lot of inflated egos both players and coaches.
 
No excuse. Should never be losing to teams like Toledo and cal poly at home.

Someone asked the question why Wyoming will never be good. We had every excuse. Bottom line......WINNING. the Toledo game cost me $400+ last weekend. I won't dump another penny into athletics until they (admin, etc) dump the same in money for coaches. This is a frickin joke.

Mark it..... We won't win until Nov. Bowl game up and vanished like a fart in the laramie wind.

Glenn never coached defense in his career. When not a head coach, he coached on the offensive side of the ball. You want Breske and he's at Washington ST making more than we can pay him

But you have to admit we had a pretty decent defense with him at the helm
 
We could potentially lose every game this season with this defense and I wouldn't be surprised to see a lot of teams set rushing records against us because the only thing we can even partially contain is pass defense.
 
I don't even know what to say. Even in my projected "worst case scenario"....this team still beats Cal Poly. Who does Wyoming beat from here on out? Idaho? They're playing LSU well right now (21-14 in 2nd)...Colorado State? (Pillow Fight?) UNLV and New Mexico? (Both locations are the Bermuda Triangle of Wyoming athletics).

Seriously. What. The. Fuck.

Won't argue you that, but make no mistake, that was Breske's D all the way. Why do you think Glenn keep him around for over 20 years.
 
The ripple effect of losses extends well beyond this game.

Recruits, fans, players. Wow. No one wants to play for a team like this.

Earlier someone mentioned egos. You nailed it. We can blame coaches, but some of these players think they are God's gift to humanity.

I.don't think I've ever seen a season with so much expectations and total let down.

I was optimistic all off season and started to become more pessimistic after our first two loses but after today? I lost all faith sure Brett can put the yards up I believe that strongly but I don't believe that our defense can get anyone off the field without giving up points.

I can't even begin to imagine how low the team morale is right now.

It wasn't just on WyoNation, Poke fans everywhere we're claiming this team was a legit MWC title contender. 9 wins guaranteed. Some dared to throw that vaunted "U" word around.

MWC title? I can barely find 4 wins!

I'm stunned that within one month, we went from praising this team to possibly looking for a new head coach. And yes, I think this is that bad.
