I am talking about purcell and Kurt tafasu and korey Jones. All are practice squad players I think. My point is that there has been talent. Not elite talent, but capable talent. Just no capable d-coaches

DC may be able to recruit offense but I have always been of the mindset you put your best players on defense. 2 things will always keep you competitive in football 1. Defense 2. Offensive line. Win those 2 battles and your always in a position to win.

Alabama would agree with you, and last I checked they're a decent squad.

I'm not so sure the odds are stacked against this kid to be a cowboy. He's ranked 3 stars by scout with only one offer so far.

Not saying he will be here but I am saying we have shown the most interest in him so far. If other teams were as high on him as the cowboys then they would offer.

I do think a lot hinges on dc and if he can salvage his job. Let's not forget that dc has had acs, Brett smith and David fales on Wyoming campus. Guy can recruit that position very well.

Remember, just because Rivals says Wyo is the only team to offer doesn't mean that that is true. We are just the only team they have heard has offered. May have got some other offers that he has zero interest in and thus Rivals hasn't heard of them.
