BYU still has to come to Laramie one last time

I know I'm talking basketball here and this is a football forum, but this is where all of the BYU leaving the MWC talk is.
I think Wyoming owes it to BYU to make their final trip to Laramie a memorable, unforgetable event. The athletic dept should market the game as "Sell out (double meaning here, BYU selling out and UW selling out the AA) Send Off Night/Day." We, the fans should be as loud, harsh, obnoxious, degrading, etc. I want the BYU administrators that make the trip (yes, I know there won't be many of the cowards) to be as uncomfortable as possible. Maybe even fear for their safety uncomfortable. This will probably be the last time we see the Cougars in quite some time. We need to make it memorable.

That is a great idea. However, the problem I see is by the time of the BYU game comes, the Schoyer team will be so bad that no one will want to make the drive in the winter. IF (and thats a big IF) we had a head coach worth a shit, and IF the team is competitive (another big IF) then it would work out well....BUTTTT I dont see either of those "IF's" working out.

One-smooth, you may be right. As such, I would suggest that sell out the final Cowgirl game against byu. That might be a better experience. Perhaps for the cowboys game, a better idea would be for NO ONE to show up. That would better express how i feel about them.

In a way it seems wrong to boo the basketball teams, as they're the ones who truly get screwed over by the whole independence stunt. Talk about double whammy... getting hated AND getting screwed over.

On TV last year I saw a game where BYU was playing at SDSU and a large portion of the student body were wearing the classic 'mission' white shirt with black tie along with a bicycle helmet! I thought it was awesome that they could organize that among themselves!
