"The only reason the ACC is saying this is to try and force BYU to join the ACC. BYU is so much better off as an independent (we got byutv!) and it is sad that the ACC would stoop to this level to try and force BYU's hand to join the ACC and be a part of their media deal."
OP is right....there were some Zoobs in delusion land. But 90% are freaking the fuck out. Their bubble has been burst. Independence has failed. Time to suck the Big XII's dick and hope they're good at it....or its back to the MW.BeaverPoke said:The sad thing is, you probably stole that from an actual thread.
Not saying you were on a BYU board, but I could totally see a BYU fan saying that.

And alcohol must be allowed at tailgates for opposing fans at least.BeaverPoke said:If the MWC lets them back in, the schools should vote to only let them play football games on Sundays.

Especially for the Wyoming fans.

I hate to put a political spin on it, but it is the same attitude of condescending and contemptuous attitude that they direct toward us in the other areas where we interact.

I really don't see how Wyoming "needs" BYU. We rarely recruit Utah, and even if we did, we have USU (along with a pretty cool and historically significant trophy) for Utah, and there are plenty of actual big name schools out there that we can schedule. Plus, I doubt BYU EVER comes back to Wyoming short of re-joining the MWC, and knowing their pride, that's not going to happen soon.Austin Nichols said:Perfect time for Wyoming to schedule a 10 game series with them - alternating sites. Time to drop the ego, and make it happen. Wyoming football needs BYU as an opponent, and it wouldn't hurt to schedule them in hoops as well.
