Apparently CSU is starting to realize that 230 million in today's dollars buys you an ugly tin 36000 seat piece of shit.

They're telling everyone that their 80000 square feet of football facilities under the stadium will be the best in the league. The HAPC is 126000 square feet. At least it all will match: half sized ipf, half sized weight room, half sized training table and a 42 k seat stadium that seats 36 k: all for 230 million in debt.
 
Yep...always view renderings with a skeptical eye. They start out looking amazing, and slowly get uglier as fund goals turn out to be unrealistic.
 
You don't see our fans on the MWC board telling people the arena is going to seat 42k with additional sro when it's going to seat 36 k with sro.

I just find it funny that they're spending 230 million on a stadium that 80 percent of their own fan base think is ugly.

They've been selling this as their ticket to the Big 12.
 
They're in for a rude awakening in 2015. Much like Fresno with Carr, they got sooooo lucky with Garrett Grayson. He was NOT an underrated recruit...he kinda fell into their laps.

Their fans still have their heads in the clouds. It won't last much longer. I personally don't have Wyoming winning more than 5 games this season, but I do think one of those 5 wins will be vs. CSU.

The Double A was top of the line without any renovations over their gym. Phase 1 alone just made them look dumpier. But you know, at least they still have the "awesome neon ram light" thing hanging down on one side... AFA's Clune makes their arena look like crap.
