at playing the the BCS title game, not that they had much chance before playing TCU but losing to TCU and BSU is out of the title picture.

They also now have little to no chance to make a BCS game in general. They'd need Houston to lose, and probably also Oklahoma and Oregon to get to two losses to even have a chance at an at-large bid. TCU is now the MWC's best chance at a BCS game, as they'll finish 10-2, 7-0 in conference play, and if Houston drops a game, it's a decent chance they'll make it into the top 16 of the BCS rankings. The highest non-AQ conference champion gets an auto-berth if they finish in the top 16 and ahead of an AQ champ (I'm looking at you Big East).

I doubt that either TCU or the boys of Boise will be BSC. That means the Pokes will probably have to win 2 out of three remaining. Doable, but CSU will be, in my opinion, an unexpexted challenge.

it's OK now because TCU won against a team who hadn't lost for a long time on their blue turf, especially in conference. "I could hurt you now." :lol:

It may have hurt the Pokes but I can't stand Boise. I was so happy to see them lose. Some of their fans have rubbed me the wrong way over the years in ways I can't even begin to describe. I f****** hate 'em. I'm sure I'll never hear the end of it about being bad for the Cowboys, but the sports fan in me has never been happier. Went to the game down in AFA today and witnessed the win. Then listened to the team I hate 2nd most lose (BYU is first). I'll sleep easy tonight

No just SMU and Tulsa. But the only team I see even having a small chance is Tulsa and they do not have what it takes to stop Case Keenum.

Actually Houston will have to play Southern Miss in C-USA Championship game also. I think Southern Miss can beat Houston. Should be a good game.

There's no SMU because it's a broken team. After gooing 5-1 they've gone 1-3 and there are problems. Some of it is the stubborn June Jones stuff. Teams know how to beat his old R&S.
Houston should be able to handle Tulsa from what I've seen.
Houston should be able to handle So. Miss. too.
I think Houston would have to have a meltdown to lose a game before a bowl game.
So maybe CougarHigh will make it to a BCS bowl and bring C-USA some extra cash.

BSU dropped from 5th to 10th after losing to TCU, Houston @ 10-0 in 11th if they win out they will get the BCS berth. It's kinda shitty such an amazing QB will end his college career at the Maco Vegas Bowl.
