Browder

Word on the street is that Browder has a chance to play this weekend. That rumor surfacing tells me he WILL play this weekend against nuhbraskuh. What does he bring to the table that will help our porous defense? He was 1st team before he got suspended.

Yeah, I saw that on one of Gags tweets yesterday. Browder brings experience and probably better coverage skills than Luke Anderson. He has played since he was a true freshman, so I'm thinking he can help.

Not as worried about our secondary as many on this board. I'd be more worried if BG lit us up at any other time than the final few minutes of the game. That tells me we softened up and played prevent...which almost prevented the win.

Need to play solid D this week to husk the fuskers.

You know...that is a good point. I have been losing sleep this week because of what happened at BG, but the fact that it was late in the game does make me feel better about it. also, we all need to remember that we caused 6 frickin turnovers. Usually that is put on the offense as a mistake over the defense...but I say when you cause 6 turnovers, the defense is doing something right. there is only one way to hold a football...I hope we can be "all about the ball" again this weekend! I hope that our linebackers and defensive ends can cause some problems for them and hit them in the mouth early and often. We need K. Jones to have a big game. 3 sacks in a row would be nice.

Can't say I share your peace of mind there. Not sure which is worse- incompetent coaching or incompetent playing. If the players were competent and the coaches squandered the players' talent, I find that profoundly disturbing. Makes me all the more convinced of my opinion of English.
