now after a sad loss, ESPN comes in and wants a game at 8:15pm, can you say brrrrrrrr...I sure hope the Boys are gonna get amped to beat the Bulldogs run from a BCS bowl bid potential....i'll be there, but it's gonna be a cold one!!!!

at this point, i hope it is a sloppy ass game that is cold and snowing. Freeze the fresneck's nards off. They have some decent guys in the trenches, but our O SHOULD be able to move the ball.

Poor little candy collectors cruising around laramie this thursday. 25 mph winds and snow. Hopefully they dress up as an eskimo.

I can't imagine Fresno anywhere near a BCS Bowl by the end of this year. Their three big wins so far are two one point games vs. Rutgers and Boise, who are both having average years, and an OT victory over SDS. I'm surprised that they are ranked where they are, or that they are ranked at all. You're sure right about the weather, ESPN has done us a favor. Between the weather and the altitude, I could see us winning this game. With their O and our D, they will be scoring a lot, but maybe some other factors could screw with their D, and we end up out scoring them. I'm hoping for a winded, cold and stiff Fresno D, with maybe some rain or a little snow. They'll score over 50, but I wouldn't be surprised if we do as well.

Well, if our o-line can do what they did against SJSU for the run game, and our defense loads up the box, and its a windy night, things COULD play to our advantage. The way Wick just ran over players and kept going, that was awesome. But a lot needs to go our way.

Carr and that trio of WRs are unstoppable in fair weather. Lightening quick release and the Top 3 WRs in the MWC. That said, I remember in 2007 when Hawaii traveled to extremely rainy San Jose to play the Spartans. Brennan, and his trio of prolific WRs were COMPLETELY neutralized by the weather. Couldn't cut, ball was wet. UH barely won that ball game, even though they were 10x the team SJSU was.

This team will need to grow a pair by game time of November 9th. But another thing to hope for is AWFUL weather. In a dome, I think Fresno beats Wyoming by 35+ points. But in a cold weather with snow? Who knows.....crazier things have happened.

But that said, the most important thing is intensity. Snow or no snow, UW has zero chance if the guys don't want to win badly.

Thanks, ESPN, for waiting to see how miserable the Pokes would be, then scheduling the game late at night, knowing no population centers will bother to watch it. Pokes, you made this miserable time happen. Fans, wear your fur jocks and bras. Fresno State, suffer congelation of the anus.

It would be a late game no matter what, Mountain West games will never get prime time slots reserved for BCS conferences.

I still like it and true fans should and will be there!!!! now we'll see if the defense changes it's adjustments and see if we can have a competitive game for a change
