Bring on the fly boys. I can't stand AFA lately.

Anyone one else read the article a few years back where former AFA players said that once they were declared injured that Calhoun ostracized them. If a player was hurt, he was no longer allowed to be with or near the team. They could go watch practice from the stands, but that was the extent of their time with the team if injured.

As an active duty Air Force officer(a loud and proud Wyoming grad) this is NOT how you treat your teammates and family. If someone is injured, you work harder as a team to get them healthy and stay together. You never leave your wingman behind!

I remember, I also remember a RB or FB getting knocked the F out on a kick-off only to return later in the game.

Wasn't a kick-off - - here is WY Jordan Stanton's hit on Hart - - at the 6.20 mark.

There was another hit during the DC years that I think they are thinking about. Ghali Muhammed(I think......actually now I think that is wrong but can't remember who) blew up two guys on a kickoff. Was called for a bs targeting penalty because he went through a blocker and ended up hitting the ball carrier up high(wasn't targeting the ball carrier's head because he was hitting a blocker). At least that how I remember it.

Holy crap who was #13 for us? They have to be the worst tackler in Wyoming history

Kirkegaard didn't exactly have a cannon, did he?

It was a kick off. Kankalongo (or something like that) knocked the kid from AFA out. The sidelines went bat shit and we got a unsportsmanlike. It was literally right in front of the Wyoming fans, on about the 15 or 20 yard line, at the Academy.

Haha I think it's Deandre Jones. Yep, he was awful. That was also senior year for Blair Burns, who seemed to get worse each year. Might be the worst CB combo in Wyoming history

Here ya go - - the 3.35 mark

Kankolongo went through a blocker, and then hit the returner, and still got tossed... BS

That brought back flashbacks of the DC tackling technique: "Don't wrap them up, prop them up, and get driven down the field for 14 yards while multiple people try and fail to strip the ball from them."

Thank god we can tackle again.

Good lord how long has Robinette been at Air Force? Did Dee Dowis (God rest his soul) throw to the dude? Seems like he has been there forever.

Almost bWHYu long...

I'll bet some people ask the same thing about Wick albeit he isn't a starter or a star but he's been around our program for a long time as well. He was a part of our demolition of Air Force in 2013 and he was a sophomore then I believe. He's been around quite awhile. Yes it's helped by his medical red shirt.

Hey guys. Utah State fan here. Do a brother a solid, and give Howdy Doody a beating he'll remember.

Go Pokes! Go AGGIES!

Air Force fan here hoping for a good game with no injuries. A great win by your team on Saturday and if we can't agree on much we can agree on "beating CSU is a good thing".

I have several points to discuss reference comments above. Check out our board and you will find No one (as fans) taking this game lightly or a done deal. Yes, we have fans who totally believe in our team that think we can win by double digits especially following our handling of Navy's rushing attack. But those same posters realize the danger of playing your team especially on your home field. Just because one or two fans feel their team they love will beat your team does NOT mean fans as a whole are disrespecting you, quite the contrary.

Reference the obvious distain by some here for our team there are feelings that promote that from your fan base as well. Last time in Laramie friends of mine had the urine filled ballon thrown at them (by a drunk who missed) inside the stadium as an example, and ripping an American flag from one of our fans hands. Doesn't say much about building mutual respect. I have not seen something happen like that at Falcon Stadium. Reference the situation with Christianson and Calhoun any of you that are football fans know he was off base. AF still had two timeouts left when that happened so they were not 'faking' to stop the clock. The fact that fans 'bitc$ed and moaned' about the hurt player coming right back into the game? That happens all the time when someone takes a knee, comes out, evaluated and then back in. Christianson was just upset he blew a lead and a possible win. Those here that complain about the illegal chop block vs legal cut blocks do not understand the difference between the two or recognize all teams, to include Wyoming, use the legal cut block. AF has only been penalized once this year for an illegal block while our opponents have also been penalized once in that same four game stretch, it is not something we do intentionally as some here would insinuate.

Bottom line is that two teams are going to do their best to play hard nose football this weekend going for a win. It should be a good game and an interesting chess match between the teams and coaches. We have both a running and passing attack this year with more balance than in years past. Our challenge will be to stop your explosive back while not giving up the big pass play. Can't wait and GO FALCONS

Let's hope for a good game with no injuries. Obviously, most of us here are hoping for a Pokes victory.

Christensen is an asshole, so no one here will argue that. We enjoy that moment because we liked seeing him lose his shit more than you guys did, and we also like that he called out your coach, regardless of the exact reason, because your coach is a bit of an asshole himself. But back to the game.

You're undefeated. That's good regardless of how you got there. But let's face it, the combined record of the teams you've faced is 5-13. Abilene is winless and that's against teams like Houston Baptist, Northern Colorado, Central Arkansas and Austin. All of them scored more points on Abilene than Air Force did with the exception of Houston Baptist, but I think Houston Baptist is a High School. You beat Georgia State...winless. Utah State has two victories, against Weber and a winless Arkansas State. Other than Navy, which was a good win, your resume isn't too impressive. I rank your Navy win about the same as our CSU win.

I see this as a one score margin of victory that either team can win. I can't help but feel the Pokes will drop 35 to 40 points on Air Force, so it'll be a bit of a shoot out, if your boys can keep up.

ltcpilot-I assume you'll see this when you come back to congratulate the Pokes, so let me first congratulate your boys for being able to keep up. For a while it looked like it might get ugly, but Air Force hung in there. You can't always believe the bookies and even the playing teams records. Compare the records against their body of work. You were 4-0, but with only one good win. Having said that, it looks like you guys could run the table until your last game. Good luck.
