If we turn the ball over 15 times vs them we are going to lose. Hopefully we'll clean up the ball security and protect our home court.

Go Pokes!!

We've got extremely lucky to win the last two games with 15 + turnovers a game. With the amount of possessions we get, that's suicide.

They better fix that crap if they want to beat the Ticks.

The Pokes will be ready for SDSU. They get up to play them. Except the table may be turned. Normally SDSU comes into Laramie as the ranked team. Monday we will find out if we are both unranked or if the table are turned.

Hasn't played since the injury.

I don't know if they have determined what the issue was, but if the issue is related to breathing or oxygen I don't think they would even bring him to Laramie much less play him. But if the issue is totally different than that, then I would have no idea where he would be at in terms to his recovery.

The Aztecs are talented but young, inexperienced, and do not shoot well. They are coming to Laramie against a smart, senior-laden team that is fundamentally sound. I think the we beat'em handily.

According to the commentators of one of the recent games, he isn't exercising at all. He's not practicing, not riding a bike, and not even jogging until they find out he's not another Hank Gathers. Even if they cleared him to play, he's going to be out of shape and rusty as hell.

He's not going to play though. His condition is one that you can't take a chance with after the Hank Gathers tragedy.

No doubt. Thanks for the info

I think this is San Diego State's most "down" team in a while.

I know it's super hard for me to say that considering this is the first time in a number of years they aren't ranked coming to Laramie.

But after Khawi Leonard left people thought they would be down. They Jamaal Franklin stepped up. People thought they would be down after he left, then Thames was big for them. I think they earned the benefit of the doubt coming into this season. People finally really bought into SDSU and Fisher and put them in the Top 25 regardless of who was playing. And they just haven't been anything special this year. But regardless, this is still a huge game for the Pokes. Until we can really establish ourselves as the team to beat, it is still SDSU, and New Mexico.

Turnovers have been pretty concerning, but I think Shyatt will get that issue turned around here in short order. Like everyone has noted, this is a huge game for the overall conference race.

I bet we run an even slower than normal offense and don't get fancy or uptempo with our ball handling.

And yes this is definitely huge. We could be 5-0 while the preseason favorites would be 2-2. We could clearly establish ourselves as top of the pack with seperation. Or... we are 4-1 with a couple other 3-1 teams right back in the pack.

I just don't think any team will win in the DOME OF DOOM this year

Other then the Cowboys of course.

I almost feel bad for SDSU with injuries and health concerns but then I remember our luck with that the past few seasons. The Aztecs looked to be playing better ball at home the last I saw them. They'll be dangerous and they looked like a tourney team to me, but they do struggle to score. They can't really bomb outside. Their game is above the rim/paint domination. That really plays into our hands I think. We can hang with that style of game in the paint and we'll be the better outside shooting team. I'm guessing we win by 7 or 8.

Still a pretty good team and a wounded animal is a dangerous one. They have trouble shooting though and I think that will be the difference. They smacked the Utes in the mouth and nearly took down AZ.

Should be a good game (although slow tempo).

We hafta come out early and set the pace to our liking, we've beat them in Laramie the past few years and this tradition has to continue. But something tells me we're gonna come back to earth, sigh oh well can't win em all....hope i'm wrong
