Brian Hill tweets that he is foregoing senior year

Wishing Brian Hill nothing but the absolute BEST!!! Hope he makes in HUGE in the NFL - to the point that UW has no choice but to name something after him!

He is a different talent then Brett was. Brett was a great athlete who was a good quarterback and a really exciting player but he was not the same talent as Brian hill.

Brian hill special and I think will grade out as a better pro then Brett. Brett was undersized and needed another year.

**He also kept me from going postal during what was the worst season of football I had witnessed maybe ever, in 2015.**

Best of luck Brian. You made WYO proud. I'm eager to see what you do at the next level. Brett made a decision based on emotion with D.C. being fired, and poor if any advice. I don't think Brett and Brian's decision are anything equal to be compared.

Good luck to him. Sefishly I would have loved him to stay but I really think is the right choice. He could increase his draft stock(maybe) by staying an extra year but will that increased draft stock be enough to make up for a shorter NFL career? I don't think it would. RB's only have so many carries in their body and you see a very big drop off suddenly in their production. With how heavy we use him that could lead to more than one extra season in the NFL before breaking down.
I usually think it is a good idea to stay in school or at least it doesn't hurt anything to stay in school another year but with RB's I think it is smart to go earlier if you can. As others have said this isn't about where he gets drafted but more about what situation he ends up in and if he is willing to put for the work needed to be successful. I know he can do it and will be rooting hard for him.

Interestingly this mock draft shows McNichols from Boise State ahead of Brian and Pumphrey behind him.

That's pretty much how I've expected it to go all along. (and that's not a mock draft)

The one thing Brian hill could have done with another year is demonstrated he could be a receiving threat out of the backfield.

I don't think he had one ball of more then a few yards. Both mcnickols and pumphry showed they could be a threat as a receiver as well.
