Minnesota would be an ideal landing spot

Agreed! Hill and McKinnon would be an ideal match and complement to each other. Asiata is about the least entertaining back in the NFL but is good in pass protection. I feel that Asiata would be expendable in the event Hill were to land in MN. McKinnon has decent hands and works well in space but is not the guy that you want to hand the ball to on 3rd and 1.

Adrian Peterson to the Cowboys would be entertaining and would make the Cowboys offense scary good.

Cowboys have one of the best running backs in the league in Elliot. No way they make a trade for AP. I can see him landing somewhere like the Niners or Jags, though.

First, AP may be a FA. Second, I doubt Adam Schefter is just making up some BS for clicks. Even Elliott needs a backup. If AP wants to extend his career, backup RB makes a lot of sense (See Williams, DeAngelo).

It's disappointing to see what these people are saying about him and his ability. I really hope they are just completely off.

Unfortunately, I think the Fox Sports analysis looks exactly like what we saw for the past 3 years. (http://www.foxsports.com/nfl/story/2017-nfl-draft-wyoming-brian-hill-scouting-report-122916)

Brian was a beast at and beyond the line of scrimmage and was a solid pass blocker, but defenders could consistently run him down from behind once he was in the clear. His speed and limited use as a receiver were the two things that have made me worry about his NFL opportunities all along. On the other hand, little speed backs are a dime a dozen but everyone needs a decent big back like Brian, and those are harder to find.

And his power and ability to push the line, even with defenders piled on him, is practically unmatched from what I've seen.

I have heard zero buzz about hill lately? Has he gotten a combine invite? I'm beginning to wonder if it was in his best interest to leave early.

I'm glad to see these articles as I want him drafted. I'm just wondering what the hold up is on a combine invite. Seems it would be hard to be drafted at all without that combine

Do they invite juniors leaving school early? Thought I read somewhere that they are inviting seniors to discourage underclassmen?

Anyone leaving prior to their senior year have to declare to the combine by mid-to-late January. The selection committee makes their choices in late January and underclassmen could call starting on January 31st to find out if they are invited or not. By this point, everyone knows if they are invited or not, just depends whether or not they have made it public.
