Brian Hill is a beast!

2628 yards in 1 season by the one and only Barry Sanders. Right now Hill is averaging 139 yards a game. If he keeps that up, he's looking at over 1600 yards on the season.

Wyokie probably knows for sure, but I believe the single season rushing record for Wyoming is held by Ryan Christopherson in 1994 and he ran for 1455 yards.

Yep. And if Hill maintains his average, he'll be the school's single season rushing leader as a Sophomore and will have a good chance at hitting 5th for all time school rushing as well by the end of the season. If he's here next year, and hit those marks, he'll have a VERY good chance at not only hitting #1 on school all time rushing, but absolutely destroying D-Mo's record at it.

Correct

1. Ryan Christopherson, 1994 1455
2. Gerald Abraham, 1987 1305
3. Devin Moore, 2008 1301
4. Myron Hardeman, 1977 1165
5. Dabby Dawson, 1988 1119
6. Marques Brigham, 1998 1114
7. Jim Crawford, 1956 1104
8. Ryan Christopherson, 1993 1042
9. Dwight Driver, 1992 1027
10. Dabby Dawson, 1989 1005

Personally I think our o-line play has been just OK, but Hill is better at finding the holes (if there are any) than Wick.. Wick just tries to power his way and it's awfully crowded.

Yes and no. Out of what I saw last night Hill at least had time after the hand off to make a move. Wick, at least four times that I could count was getting hit at the hand off for a loss. That's not on Wick.

One play that stuck out in my mind that puts hill above wick was a handoff to hill for an inside run. There was no obvious hole, but hill managed to jump over and in between the 2 linemen that were supposed to make the hole and ended up getting solid yards. Sure, bad blocking made wick have a bad night. But I firmly believe hill will out gain wick if they were presented with the exact same scenarios

For Hill's sake I surely hope Bohl actually has a clue what he's doing or he'll go down as one of the best players the pokes have ever seen to never even sniff being on a good team. Sorta like Brandon Ewing in basketball.

Hill is a beast, I enjoy watching this team because of players like him, wingaard, Gentry, and Yarborough.

"Brian Hill rushed for 208 yards and a touchdown on 30 carries for Wyoming (0-5), the first opponent to rush for more than 200 yards against Appalachian State since 2005."

That part is at least pretty damn impressive.

He should go pro after next season, avoid risking any injury.
Right. He can get the same advisory staff and agent that Smith got.
Except the fact that Hill has NFL talent.
Yep. Not a product of a system like smith operating in the spread. Besides, he's a running back. Their days are numbered from the start. If the situation is right, you gotta take your payday
