Let's see. You've called Brett Smith a "fool," as if someone who is getting whatever monetary value you want to put on a football scholarship to UW would be foolish to pursue financial security for life in a very dangerous profession. You've called him a "quitter" while saying that you "hope he doesn't get drafted and ends up third string in the AFL" as if those statements are evidence of anything other than your own vindictiveness and selfishness. You've questioned whether he's accomplished anything, as if the UW record book isn't littered with his name and as if he's been saddled with anything better than a mediocre team and coaching staff. You've accused him of being more interested in his numbers than winning, as if he didn't choke back tears in interviews after tough losses this season. You've repeatedly claimed he's going to be an "in drafted" free agent, as if someone as intelligent as Brett would declare for the NFL if the draft advisory board told him he wouldn't even get picked.
It's one thing to be of the opinion that he's making a poor career choice. It's quite another to wish that he is making a poor career choice, which you apparently do as if he owes you fucking anything. And it is yet another thing to act as if his accomplishments on the field are anything less than outstanding in the annals of Poke football. And it is still yet another thing entirely to question his character as if that guy didn't lay it all on the line every time out and take losses harder than I have maybe ever seen an athlete take them publicly.
The opinion that he's making a bad decision from a career standpoint is defensible, though not one I hold. The rest of it you can shove right up your ass, you fucking crybaby.
He does owe me and Wyoming one win against a quality opponent. Something he never delivered. He's the Matt Stafford of college football. Or as I call him, Stat Padford.Cowduck said:SDPokeFan said:Sigh. If it's a differing opinion it's trolling. I forgot.Cowduck said:Troll hard, SDPokeFan. Troll hard.

Who would come in, if Thompson is not the guy? Fort? Do we have any other QBs?
Oh yeah, I forgot about him.kansasCowboy said:kdwrightuwyo said:Adv8RU12 said:Predictions: Smith goes in fourth of fifth round to Denver. Thompson starts, barely, as QB next year but does not end as such. That's what my cloudy crystal ball shows.

The only other QB to play this year was Thorton. He may be in the mix.
And just why the fuck does he owe you a goddamn thing?SDPokeFan said:He does owe me and Wyoming one win against a quality opponent. Something he never delivered. Bingo. He won't be able to put up meaningless stats against crappy teams. That's why he is leaving.bladerunnr said:Cornpoke said:Happy for Brett. It may or may not be a good decision for Smith. But it is a terrible one for Wyo.. Bohl flew up to see him for a reason. Qb's like Smith don't come around very often. However, if we become a ball control, run first type of offense, maybe the qb position won't be as important as it was under DC.

BeaverPoke said:SDPokeFan, how in the FUCK does Brett owe you anything? Holy shit you are a pathetic man. I feel really bad for you now, showing what kind of loser you really are.
And for those of you wondering if Thorton is going to be the guy...umm no.
Thompson is going to be the QB.
He will start game 1 as QB and he will end the season as QB. I have no idea why you guys would believe someone's "crystal ball" prediction when that person is constantly negative about the program as well.
Thompson is the QB now, and it will be that way until he goes to the NFL.
Remember, Thompson is bigger, stronger armed, and faster than Brett.
He tore it up in Spring Ball and Fall Camp.
Yes, his 1 start against AFA as a true freshman wasn't all that great, but let's not forget, he was the 3rd string QB entering the season.
Thompson has learned so much in the past 2 years since his AFA game.
Get ready for some boot leg rollouts, runs and passes!
Should get a 1000 yard rusher, wick was damn close this year and i agree with you that we will absolutely be run first now...i could see wick getting around 1200, if may progressed near the same way he couks be around 600-80; more. That is, if our line does anythingkansasCowboy said:BeaverPoke said:SDPokeFan, how in the FUCK does Brett owe you anything? Holy shit you are a pathetic man. Dude, chill. We just mentioned Thorton as in the mix. Nothing more.
Since most coaches transition accordingly to what players they have coming in, and since Brett decided to leave, I think we will see a major change in our offense next year. That also being said, I don't think we even have a 2,000 yard passer next year. Thompson will get the majority of snaps, but, we will probably be close to a 60/40 in rush to pass, especially with Wick and company in the backfield. Thompson I can see passing anywhere from 1,600 yards to right to 2,000 yards.
Get ready for change. Granted we may get a 1,000 yard rusher again.
Lots of QBs out there with this draft though. Johny dbag will probably declare. The kid from UCF is going. Might be tough to go in the first dayJ-Rod said:https://twitter.com/mikevorel/status/417015649240494080
