I know some people aren't crazy about the no huddle, fast paced offense, but it is viable. If a defense can't contend with it, that's on the defensive coordinator and the strength and conditioning coach.
The rule isn't going to affect us much now since we're switching to a West Coast style offense, but this is a coach who doesn't like something different from what he does. Well, he should probably do something on the defensive side of the ball then to stop the other team's offense. He comes off as a whiner.
Honestly, sounds like what's been happening in Kansas lately. My cousin goes to Pike Valley High, where their HC has been there since at least his mother went there when she was in high school. He only goes with the old school style of ramming it down people's throats with a game manager for a QB. But when going against more up tempo/spread/throw first teams, his defense gets eaten alive, because he's built it to stop the power run, not the spread out pass. And he hates that, similar to the SEC douchebag.
