Everything I see about the draft he isn't even listed in the top 15 of quarterbacks, and most places don't have him getting drafted at all.

Please, enlighten us with your "draft knowledge" because the 8 different team scouts that were constantly at practice would beg to differ. Guess we will all find out after Christmas break. And for anyone who says "Brett said he was staying, he told me so himself"...he is full of bullshit and Smith would never advertise he was leaving before the season ended.

Here are several links, and Brett is nowhere on the draft radar. I love the kid, but he is not going to get drafted this year he would be an undrafted free agent.

Playing in a spread offense hurts a draft stock a lot, unless you put up major numbers or are at a big time school. He will not be getting drafted this year, he would probably sign after the draft though.

Larry Shyatt is a professional, a competent and qualified 'leader', who unlike DC possesses a short and long term plan...he's won his fair share of games, and although I want in the Tournament (the real one), I feel he has Wyoming Basketball headed in a positive direction.

Larry Shyatt represents Wyoming basketball and projects very positively IMO.

Not at all. I am all about standards. The same standards apply to all coaches, not just the football coach. So, the standard is set. Conference Championships or be fired. No more settling for anything but championships and the sweet 16.

He has more wins against ranked teams in one season than DC pulled out in 5 years. Shyatt is regarded as the best defensive coach in all of basketball going back to his time at Florida. He has won 2 National Championships as an assistant coach, and brought in the system that brought about those titles. He has actually had winning records in each season, as well as playing in the postseason in each of them. DC needed to be fired, he didn't get the job done and it is nobody's fault but his own. To bring up Shyatt is a complete joke of an argument, he is a fantastic coach that we are extremely lucky wanted to finish his career here in Wyoming.

Smith's realizes his draft stock falls with a new coaching staff (his stats will be greatly reduced). Also, his brother will NOT be coming to Wyoming (decisions made a week ago).

There will be transfers out. Think the team was deficient in depth before, wait until all the fall out. But, all the haters get their wish. Pokes will be rebuilding for years to come.

My sources are the same who told me he was fired (while others are saying he was resigning). Watch the fall out. Shit just went from bad to worse for our football program. And for the idiots who say Smith has no draft stock, do you actually read papers, follow scouting reports? Smith goes no later than 3rd round. Also, when a certain defensive player quite last week, it wasnt because of CDC, it was because of the uncertainty of the coaching staff. He is transferring because he realizes that the Pokes are gonna suck ass with a new coaching staff.

This must be a relative of DC's. Personally every defensive player on the team could transfer and it would be fine by me.
