Brandon Ewing - What every Poke should aspire to be

There have been a lot of solid names that have come through Wyoming Athletics, some made it big and completely forgot about Laramie some turned Laramie into their project city. Some didn't make it big but still put 150% into what Wyoming is all about.

Brandon Ewing embodies everything that every Poke should aspire to be. The amount of focus he puts into Laramie the High Schools and the state of Wyoming is mind blowing. I really wish he received more recognition for what he does because he does 10 times as much as anyone ever has no matter where he lives.

Brandon Ewing is one of the greats of Cowboy Basketball. He is not only a great player, but a great person also.

His contributions over the past few years have been nothing short of impressive. He's really given back to the University and to Laramie. It's great to see someone who not only took the leap from Chicago to Laramie, but embraced the opportunity, thrived here, and showed his appreciation by giving back. We could use more Brandon Ewings in this program and less of the instant gratification crowd.

Great player, better person. Ive been so impressed by what he has been doing in Laramie the last couple years. Met him after a football game downtown at the Library and he is one of the coolest, nicest people. Spent a good 15-20 minutes BSing with him.
