Yeah I get that, I just question his ability to lead and be that game manager. At this point not too many respect him because of his lack of ability and inability to perform in the weight room. Trust is built with iron in the off season. Anyone who has been around the game understands that. Trust is also built by treating your team mates well. I just don't see that happening right now. Perhaps he will earn that trust and respect in Spring Football but with so many competing for that position I just don't see it. But I have been wrong more than I have been right!

im not bias. i respect your opinion. but lemme just clear the air. 1. he doesnt post on here him self thats just the stupidest thing ive ever heard. not saying you said that but i just read that. 2. i know psychically he is behind. not making comparisions cause he hasnt dont anything at this level but look at tom bradys combine weakest draft prospect ever at qb. its not about that on the field. reps in bench press mean nothing on the field. watch the film, high school to ASA, he's a legit pro style guy. to the reads, to not turning the ball over. HS senior year and ASA together stack at 52tds to just 12 ints. come on give the kid a little credit. now i like Kolby a little better than my own brother just cause of expeirence and his size, Nick smith could be a problem too but the stats dont lie 20tds to 10 ints in two years in florida no comparing to cali talent lets be real. i dont think he's a pro style guy. and when it matters and thats spring ball and summer camp aaron will hold his own. he may not be a dedicated gym rat which i do understand thats where these guys judge alot. but i bet you didnt know out of the 4 QB's there his the only one in wyoming for spring break, in the film room and gym. he watches and studys film like most of them lift. qb is a different game, its won in the mind not the body like the other positions. just wait on it.

Colby will not win the starting job, and he should not have an edge due to anything.

I wanted Aaron to be the guy, but I have also heard some things about him that are not the most positive with his interaction with teammates.

To ease the mind of the internet poke fans we need a QB to take a clear lead as soon as possible, preferably after Spring Ball.
The worst thing possible is having a QB controversy with 5 QBs going into fall ball.

And remember, the fans here on Wyonation and Gowyogo are going to be the fans you want to ignore if you are a family member of a player. Internet fans are quick to judge, and don't care who is playing, they just want the team to win.

Don't take negative talk about your bro personally or you will end up hating Wyonation.
 
I am really glad to hear that he stayed in Laramie over spring break to put in some film work. I agree that the mental part of playing QB is as demanding as the physical. Film time is paramount and I am glad he is putting in the work. I want him, or someone, to succeed. I have no horse in this race and I hope he takes all of this talk as uses it as fodder to get better and prove everyone wrong! THAT.... I can respect! All we want is a QB who will lead by example and be a true Warrior when it comes time! Arron, if you are reading this It is nothing personal brah! I, like everyone, will "wait for it!" GO POKES.
 
I remember when Smith and Pittser were in camp and most of us were higher on Pittser. Shows you what we know. I still remember someone from Oregon telling us that we got a gem with Smith. I feel the same for whoever drafts him.

I also remember someone, I don't remember who it was, pulling up a years old thread about how Brett wasn't a legit D1 player and won't be a 4 year starter, just to rub it in someones face.
But the person who said Brett won't be a 4 year starter technically won the argument lol.

Gotta be it.

I know most players probably scan through message boards, it's too tempting not to, but I don't think I like the idea of our potential leader bantering back and forth with message board people.
 
Not this message board no way half of them might hang themselves after ready some of the shit that gets posted here.
 
It would be a lot better if we didn't crown starting QBs before anyone has thrown a pass. I'll reserve judgment until after everyone gets throwing.
 
I am sure it is Spring Practice, and rest assured I will be at everyone that I can. I believe Bohl is opening the first 30 minutes or so to the public. All that means is you get to watch them warm up. However I have several eyes on the team that can tell me whats up? I don't think I want to get in a bantering match with him either. I was pretty hard on him early so it is time I backed off and waited to see what happens. Good Luck young man, and may the force be with you! LOL

This +1,000. I know next to nothing about any of these guys (except for Captain Kirk), so I'm planning to sit back and watch. Spring ball is going to be exciting this year.

Just a reminder; our last star QB became the starter because he was here for spring ball and got the extra reps in. That should probably be noted while we're debating the subject.
 
The optimist in me only thought of the possibilities of our QB talking with us after wins.
But considering our track record....I am re-thinking that.
 
I think Bohl's probably smart enough to educate his players on the dangers of spewing controversial things on social media.

But then again, I would have thought Trey Washington would be smarter than to whine that he's missing spring break for a CBI invite.
