They actually had their best offensive performance overall tonight. Not much comfort overall, I know, but still.J-Rod said:45-31 is better than what I expected. They covered the spread!
We know quit rubbing it in.Mr.Large said:Looking at the recruits I don't see any help next year. Ouch!!

Yeah, CSU probably let up enough which helped the Pokes get 31 on the board. But, on the sidelines, they were focused and paying attention to the coaches. They stayed determined on the field.
I expected a thrashing, which kind of happened. But, I was hopeful to see some fire out of these guys. I saw it. They don't give up. They aren't very talented, but they listen to their coaches and stick with it. I was extremely proud of them tonight.
Bohl is going to bring in the right people for this system. In two years, it will be a much improved Wyoming team.

I'm so glad we fought and still lost. Go team. Yay.
Green and gold ribbons for all.

And if we had DC and co we would have still lost by WAY more than we did. Being down 24-3 at half, we probably would've lost 59-17 or worse. That's all we've ever been known for is giving up. And I watched the game myself. Jarrells, Hart, Higgins, all of them were out there in the fourth, that would be their starters.
Besides it's CSU, I'm sure all of them, including McElwain wanted to thrash us. Losing by two scores, any giving up 28 points in the second half, does not match that. I noticed a lot of their starters in at the end, just a couple backups that I really noticed were playing.
Not pumping Sunshine. Just not being an absolute dirt bag, every time I'm on here like some...
I really don't know what your glitch is for constantly calling me out, when I haven't said or done anything to you.

I seen most of the injuries occur, and it just seems like bad luck.
Same with adding in the appendixes. I mean seriously, what are the odds of two OLs going out on that?
I just finished reading your whole exchange with Kansas over in the game thread, and now I read this. Gotta say, I usually differ quite a bit with Kansas (he continued to defend DC after he was canned among other things) but I don't think anyone's been pumping sunshine or humping unicorns- most of what I've seen is some pretty reality grounded, perceptive optimism. The personality of the team under Bohl is completely different. A DC team would've quit at the end of the first half. Most people seem to agree that it's an issue of personnel left from DC as far as the results on the field.Subcanis said:You do realize they had their backups in, right? No, you dont.
