New rules are coming for g6 and playoff eligibility.
Unfortunately, the showing that JMU and Tulane had were terrible and so was Boise a year ago. New rules are needed, but so are some rules and regulations for a whole lot of other things. Getting a grip on NIL should be the number one priority. Heck, calling it NIL is ridiculous. It’s flat out pay for play and the big schools and conferences hold all the chips. At some point, those that are paying ridiculous amounts of money might want to change their minds. I mean, how long can teams like BYU pay players for one year a huge amount of money, and then not even get in? Or players deciding to sit out because they don’t want to get hurt for an upcoming draft? Or guys like Troy Aikman commenting about how he didn’t even get a “thank you” from a donation for a player? This whole thing is out of control and really, not a great investment for someone that doesn’t just have money to throw away. It kind of reminds me of a scene in the movie “Rat Race” where a bunch of millionaires are making really ridiculous prop bets and laughing when they lose!New rules are coming for g6 and playoff eligibility.
