Bowl projections

If we had the chance to play in the Cactus Bowl against Texas where Boise is being predicted to that would be awesome. Getting a weaker bowl than Boise I feel like it would be a slap in the face if we end up as champions with no more losses.

I'd rather go to San Diego and play BYU again that play a 6th place PAC 12 school in Vegas. I think I would rather play anyone from the AAC in New Mexico than a 6th place PAC 12 school.

Its all a mute point now, we're going to the Cotton Bowl!!! A few days ago I said we had a better shot at going to the Cotton Bowl than Trump had of winning so the stars might just line up.

Nothing matters until December 4th. Thats when I will look back at these games and wonder what if. This UNLV loss could doom us or it could set us up for a stronger finish, who knows.

Got to love the MWC...JFC.
It's NY6, Vegas, or bust. There is talk the 2nd/3rd best MW team could play in the Cactus Bowl vs. Big XII if the Pac-12 doesn't have enough qualifiers...but even that in hand, this conference's bowl situation is horrible. I've seen places putting, like dmj posted, potentially 9-3/8-4 Wyoming vs. Idaho. Or 10-2/11-1 Boise vs. Middle Tennessee State. San Diego State at home vs. a so-so BYU team. Our bowl tie-ins are truly all glory or nothing.
I wish Thompson would negotiate the Holiday Bowl back into our control like the old WAC days.
