Vegas Bowl will likely get App State or North Texas

REAAAAAALLY hope we don't get BYU. Taysom Hill may be prone to throwing interceptions, but he does know how to use his feet, which is bad.

I don't think I could deal with trashtalking BYU fans if they New Mexico us.

Hill got hurt Saturday night. He likely is out. Hill has lost A LOT in running. He doesn't run like he used to, and he can't pass. The backup Mangum would shred our secondary.

It is looking like a 5-7 North Texas team would likely go to Vegas. Pac12 not looking good for Vegas. All depends on if Washington wins vs Colorado. If the purple UW wins, no Vegas Bowl for Pac12 would be my guess.

agreed, that's why we need to fill the War and be a part of a historical night, cuz the bowl games don't really appeal to me, we'll see....Laramie come on represent, help us, cuz I wish they'd black it out in Laramie at least!!!!!

from what i understand........if the PAC-12 sends a team to the playoff then all remaining teams move up one slot....leaving no 6 win team left for the vegas or cactus bowls

Poinsettia bowl would be ok if we win. Would love to watch the cougar fans cry about that.

I have too many inlaws who are byu fans and I won't be able to show my face if we lose.

At this point, and with recent results, ANYTHING but the evil, eyesore, blue spud chucker bowl.

I'm fairly confident that we'll be going to either Las Vegas or San Diego.

Us, Boise and SDSU have to be the clear top three teams for bowl placement. One of the things the bowls look at when placing teams is when a team last played in a particular game. If we aren't in Vegas after a win this weekend, it would likely be between us and Boise for San Diego and Boise played in the Poinsettia Bowl last year.

I hate the prearranged bowl crap for teams like BYU. I looked at airfare from SLC to SD.... basically sold out. I will have to fly into Long Beach or LAX.
