How sad is it for the state of both teams that this isn't a national ESPN game. Hurts both teams in recruiting, conf status, etc.

Tough slot, up against Miami/BC then Utah/UCLA on ESPN. Border War was on CBSSN last year too.

Most years I remember watching on TV have been CBSSN, IIRC

Yeah ...just feel a rivalry game like this needs more exposure. I mean....only folks who are already interested will be watching. I purchased sling TV just for ESPN and fox sports channels for college football....as a fan, Im not 100% sure how I'm going to watch it......what's that say about a 17yr old kid who knows nothing about the rivalry.
