As the article says, Chol's narrowed his list of schools down to 11. Down to 11?! And yes, it does read like a who’s who of college basketball teams — Alabama, Arizona State, Connecticut, Florida, Georgetown, Kansas, North Carolina, UCLA, Virginia, Washington and yes, Wyoming.

This would be the missing piece of the puzzle. I've been watching as much video as I can find on this kid and he is a MONSTER in the paint. I think hes only around 6'8, but he plays like he is a 7 footer. He would also be a decent scoring threat in the low post, but his real value would be on the boards and his ability to alter shots. He is only a junior this season, so he wouldn't be on campus and available until the 2011-2012 season. I personally feel like we may contend for a MWC title already next year, but adding this guy to the roster for the 2011-12 season would put me on the verge of guaranteeing a MWC crown that season. The thought of Manzano and Chol on the same team sends shivers up my spine. If this kid signs with us, it could signal a major turning point for this program.

I give Heath Schroyer and his staff credit that we are even in the mix for Chol. I'm with TheRealUW, our future looks bright.
