Interesting to note, the top 4 conference champions get the 4 byes in the college football playoff. If Boise wins out they would be the 4 seed and avoid a first round matchup against some Power Conference programs. Otherwise they would probably be the 11 or 12 seed and just sneak into the playoff based on the criteria that the top ranked G5 program makes the playoff. THey have a lot to play for. Potentially (given the breakup of the MWC), you could envision this being the last nationally relevant game that takes place in Laramie, Wyoming.
