Here is the MWC preseason finish for the teams:
1. Boise State
2. TCU
3. Air Force
4. San Diego State
5. Colorado State
6. Wyoming
7. UNLV
8. New Mexico.

Kellen Moore Offense Player of the Year, Tank Carder Defense Player of the Year, Jared Warzeka Special Teams Player of the Year.

Thoughts?

Wyoming and CSU are interchangeable. The rest is correct. Air Force has an outside shot at 2nd over TCU.

And a possible upset over BSU, considering this BSU squad has never gone up against the Air Force option (not the standard tiple option), there is a chance of an upset there.

I think SDSU might be catchable too. They just lost any experience that had returning at WR. They also lost their head coach.

Beating AFA requires disciplined assignment football, which just about nobody does better than BSU's defense. I think that one has surprise blowout written all over it.

To illustrate the drastic difference in talent between AFA/BSU, look at last season. After BSU clown-stomped Wyoming mercifully 51-6(Could have been worse), AFA luckily nearly lost to UW 20-14 the following week. And as I've stated before, until you've been to the blue turf, you don't know what you're getting yourself into.

Wow! Boise State has been told they can't wear all blue during MWC home games. OOC is okay. They'll likely go blue tops with white/orange pants. The Bronco fans a re furious. Even Coach Petersen was pissed.

Bad move by the MWC coaches. I know you MWC fans are new to BSU, but take it from this fan whose watched them play routinely for years.....THIS IS THE LAST TEAM YOU WANT TO F!CKING PISS OFF!!!! Expect some ruthless blowouts on the blue this year.

I won't apologize for something that's out of my hands. And of BSU would just get green turf, they could leave the endzones blue if they wanted. Not the worst coloration of a field (that goes to Eastern Washington), but it certainly doesn't do any favors to the eyes.

Boise State agreed to this as a condition to joining the conference. This wasn't forced on them (well, kind of), but they did agree.

I remember when the Fresno fans were stoked that BSU was wearing Orange at home against them. BSU ended up winning 51-0 and held FSU to their worst offensive outing in school history.

Haha...I think this is hilarious. All Blue uni's or not, there was still going to be some ruthless blowouts on the blue this year.

The game against Boise could have been closer too. Wyoming shot themselves in the foot a few times to begin the game...including a free TD when a ball was snapped over ACS's head. Oh, and a Wyoming player died the weekend before. I don't think you can draw any conclusions based on that game.

The two prior Wyoming vs Boise games were decided by a total of 17 points.....which includes a 10 point loss at Boise and a 7 point loss in Laramie.

Sorry, but I'm not buying those excuses. That game was total domination from the first to last second. Plus, BSU is far better than they were back in those two previous games, and their recruiting classes suggest they'll only get better.

51-6? 37-0 at halftime? Out-gained by 500+ yards? that's not "The ball rolled their way and things got out of hand", that's a complete clown-stomping.

that was the texas game....not boise

I "hate" Kellen Moore. I love Ricky Carder. I mean Tank.

The MWC schedule makers must be pissy little girls who stomp their feet when they don't get what they want because of changing TCU's schedule to play at Boise State when it was originally the other way around AND not letting TCU have an open date where they requested one.

When you ditch the conference you're no longer going to be catered too.....I appreciate them moving the game to Boise and for telling them tough.

+1 Plus, BSU leads the series with TCU 2-1, yet the games have never been in Boise! Two-neutral sites and a game in Ft. Worth that BSU won. About time TCU grows a pair and heads up to Idaho in the cold.

TCU is used to the cold, they've been playing in the Mountain West for a few years, they've seen it all. Probably except Laramie on one of its exceptional days when it's 20 degrees with the wind blowing 30mph.

Doesn't change the fact that they're in for it when they come to Boise. They have to make a stop in Laramie the week before. Could be rough going for the Frogs.
