Boise - Not a State

uh....no. We can't defend inside. We can't defend outside. There is not one consistent shooter on this team. This team is far worse than I thought. We aren't even competitive on our home court. Boise St. is a far more talented team. Even with Ike, we wouldn't beat them.

Nonsense. Leave decent shooters completely unguarded and they'll make em.
And they have missed plenty of them. But they get offensive rebounds as well.

It explains why we are 0 fer in the conference. There are players on this team who are no better now than when they
were freshman. They showed promise at one point, but their games never developed. This team doesn't have a single consistent outside shooter, rebounder, or post player. Reynolds has improved, but I would be hard pressed to name another player on this team who has upped his game.
I realize we don't have Ike or Wenzel, but other guys need to step up and it hasn't happened. I'm starting to think the overall talent level on this team is not very good.
 
I hate to say it but it appeared to me this team has packed it in. Terrible effort in all honesty and I don’t see a lot of give a damn.

I’d say at home against Fresno is our only realistic shot at this point. Dome of Disappointment.

Wyoming shot a better 3 percentage than Boise. We just got out hustled, out rebounded, played soft defense, shot free throws worse than a junior high team and turned the ball over a bunch. Thankfully, Boise missed quite a few open 3s or we could have lost by 40.
 
Hope Maldo is ok. He left the game after being fouled with 3 minutes left. Linder said he was struggling to breathe and played sick.

Would lead me to believe we don’t see many of these kids come back, if your observation is true. I would expect mass transfers……

Very unlikely. Most of players on the floor are juniors and seniors. And frankly, none of them will step into a competitive D1 program and make a major contribution. Reynolds is the only underclassman who could jump into a better situation. Hopefully, he stays.

I agree. Outside of Ike and Reynolds, no one is going to draw much interest. For better or for worse, this is our team next year. I thought Caden Powell would mature quicker than he has. He needs serious work in the weight room.
