Bohl ....

...should be going after Towson's recruits.

They have better players.....seriously.

NDSU is full of the standard 2 star kids. Those can be had at anytime. A testament to his coaching.

He will be pleasantly surprised with the talent level currently on campus in Laramie.

Peace

...no the first time was against EWU.

I was impressed then. I wanted EWU to win that game because I thought that they would handle NDSU and shut these effers up.

Seriously

Peace

I have seen this Towson team play live against ODU. They are well coached and disciplined. They could not beat ODU since ODU had an unstoppable offense, but Towson is really good.

....if Bohl's top level is NDSU quality recruits and program he will get worked in this conference.

I could care less about his once a year victory over FBS schools.

Seriously

Are people still using the same complaint about Bohl?

When Jerry Kill came to Minnesota, we heard the same thing "he can't recruit MAC-level athletes anymore" yadda yadda yadda

Look at the turnaround the program has made though.

Bohl attracted the top FCS-caliber athletes to Fargo because thats the level he was at. Now that he's at Laramie, his recruiting base broadens because he's recruiting at a new level of competition. He'll be recruiting MWC-caliber athletes. The turnaround might not happen instantly, but it will happen.

I am looking forward to the Northern Plains/Upper Midwestern toughness and getting kids who are not afraid of a little winter. Laramie is nicer weather than the upper Mississippi drainage and the Red River Valley right now.

I hope he gets at least 4 years to turn the program around. NDSU's national domination really happened the last 4 years he was there, see below. I saw the game when the Bison played at Wyoming and the Cowboys were lucky to win. I also saw them play at CSU in 2012 and they dominated both sides of the ball. I was especially impressed with their discipline. My home has been Wyoming for the past 28 years, but I do follow the Bison somewhat as I 'm an alum and grew up in North Dakota. A number of my friends travel to almost every road game. I expect the Cowboy fan culture to change with him here. Someone I know that is a personal friend of Bohl's said once that he has turned down several DivisIon I jobs in the past, so we are really lucky to have him.

Towson played in the Big 10 of FCS conferences.. they have some talent, I mean, goodness who wouldn't want Terrance West on their team. Not sure that they're more talented than NDSU though.

Also, Eastern Washington would have gotten killed today.. worse than Towson. Eastern doesn't play any defense, and their offense struggles against good defenses.. wouldn't have been pretty.

I, on the other hand, would have liked to have at least one win per year over a team we were supposed to lose to.

Evidence with today, it doesn't matter who was out there in FCS, no one was even close to NDSU. Heck they beat a good Kansas State team in Bill freaking Snyder Family Stadium!!!

He isn't going to make Wyoming a really good team in just one year (would love to be proved wrong) but in a few years I bet you a lot of money he will have Wyoming near or at the top of the MWC if the players, school and fanbase buy in like the Bison faithful did.

Whoa whoa whoa, now you call K-State good?
What happened to telling me how bad their offense was?
How they go 3 and out all the time.

I guess winning 8 games including a bowl game and going over .500 in Big12 play is kinda good isn't it?

And you've probably never heard of Towson until this game.

I can say I have. The university is located in the city of Towson, just north of Baltimore, MD. One of my father's cousins was a professor there for many years.

2 star kids or not...Bohl won at this level.....other than west I wouldn't take towson anywhere with me. Bohl will turn the pokes into winners....that's what good coaches do. Enjoy discipline, execution and dedication. Wyo is lucky to get a coach that will pour himself into the program. He's not a coordinator resting on his laurels from past programs. Just my opinion but Bohl will have more winning seasons through his contract than. The pokes have had in a decade. Peace out go Cowboys.

I think you have me confused with kansascowboy. Lol

I'm a big fan of the job Bill Snyder does at KSU and the type of program he runs. They just won 8 games with a team with a complete rebuilt defense and a new QB and had lost their stud WR in Harper. They were one game from a national title game last year.
