Bohl not interested

From all indications he wasn't at the top of Wyoming's list either. From the get-go it was mentioned that he probably wouldn't be interested, so this comes as no surprise. But considering that he plays in the ice box of the nation it can't have anything to do with weather or location, I am sure that he is looking for bigger things. Be careful Coach Bohl, you just might get what you ask for. Also it is easier to be a big fish in a small pond and that is what he is now.

Joe Glenn was an amazingly good hire on paper. Too many of the really great coaches cut their teeth as head coaches at lower-division schools before making the jump to rule out that option forevermore.
Besides, I really liked winning the Las Vegas Bowl and beating (admittedly down) Tennessee and both BYU and CSU in a single season. We have not won many games that we were not supposed to over the past five years.

The general consensus around Bohl is that he is either going to wait it out for a top 20 program that is built to contend for titles, or just stay in Fargo and coach himself into the Hall of Fame and get the next stadium named after him. There is also the problem that his two top assistants are both likely NDSU lifers. He generally has the demeanor of someone who is pretty satisfied with his 400k a year job, as he has probably earned a couple 3-8 seasons before he gets fired. If Bohl wants to go FBS, NDSU certainly will be able to. If he wanted a raise, NDSU can do that too.
Also some of you are way underrating Fargo. Really nice city thats 30 miles from minnesota lakes country. So what if it gets a little colder in the winter?

Current temp is 6 F, with about 6 inches of snow on the ground.

It's possible that I've banned lakesbison.. I know I banned him from CS.com and probably eGriz.

By the way.....looking at the Laramie forecast this week, I wouldn't talk about how bad the weather is in Fargo...LOL!
I do think Bohl will take off for a BCS program if he wins the FCS title again this year. While he likes Fargo and NDSU.....Money is money, and who would blame a guy for getting a huge raise.
