especially since the UW pres and admins are going on a statewide bitch fest.....er....i mean town hall tour soonMcPeachy said:Can you imagine the shit storm from the "state-budget-cut-academic-side" that Burman will have to weather? I am not a fan of his (as most here know), but I will have his back on this one, no doubt.

a) the week after beating Boise State, donations were 300% the weekly average, and
b) admissions received 200% the weekly average of online applications
These are things that people NEED to know about athletics. And need to know about keeping us FBS. So many benefits to a winning program and a Coach that can maintain that. Pay him all he wants, it's just an investment to those who understand how it works.
is true. Good to see, and clear reasons to invest in a winning program.McPeachy said:a) the week after beating Boise State, donations were 300% the weekly average, and b) admissions received 200% the weekly average of online applications
This is why we should be breaking the bank for football. If we want to grow our university then this is the best way to do it.pokecountant said:I've got a friend who works in admissions and is close with the some of the Major Gift people at UW, he told me last weekend that:

i wouldn't mind seeing something like a 25% increase to the assistant coach coffers as welllaxwyo said:A buyout should be more than just his salary for the length of his contract imo.

Aside from Bohl, the S&C coach deserves the biggest raise! He's been instrumental this season and is arguably the biggest reason for the turn around. War Daddies indeedAsmodeanreborn said:whyoh said:i wouldn't mind seeing something like a 25% increase to the assistant coach coffers as welllaxwyo said:A buyout should be more than just his salary for the length of his contract imo.

Give the strength and conditioning coach a raise, for sure. Don't want him to go anywhere for a long time. Sure Granderson is out for this season, but his transformation was pretty damn amazing.
