Black uniforms

We're mentioned in the latest Forde Yard dash as one of the teams that would never wear Black uniforms. What do you all think? Would you like to see it?

I don't understand wearing a color that isn't representative of the school at all. Does it really do anything for the team or fans to wear black if its not part of a color scheme? Honestly I thought Tennessee wearing black was pointless.

People can argue/complain about our color scheme all they want, but I would much rather see the Pokes in some version of Brown/Gold as opposed to any other color.

I love the Cowboys' colors! Only thing I would like to see change with the uniform is to get rid of the white on white uniforms. I prefer the yellow pants with the white jersey. JMHO

I completely disagree. I love the all white look. Its just so clean and classic. I just don't really like the white on yellow, not sure why. To each his own i guess.

I'm sure there is a cool combination of black/brown/gold. But I prefer brown and gold at home.

Ever since we got rid of leg stripes and the helmet stripe I think the all-white roadies are tooooo white. I always was partial to the brown pants on the road uniforms. And I don't like the gold pants on the road.

I would love to see the old 2 color strip on the pants come back. I think that would look great on white, gold and brown pants. I've got a design of how they could look from the Nike website.

With everyone getting so pissy over prairie gold, could you imagine the uproar over black?

I would HATE the black. I don't like it when the non-football/basketball teams wear it. The colors are BROWN and GOLD - with white. I'm sure something can be figured out with that combination.

NO BLACK for any team unless it is part of their school colors.... even NC has decimated their uniforms by taking them all black. They look good with orange jerseys and black pants as designed. KW tried installing black into their uniforms and I was appalled. Colors are Green and White. Even the gold that KW tried to use at one time is not an original school color.

The thought of an all black uniform makes me think of CU and I find that disgusting. I agree with whoever said that if it's not your school colors it doesn't belong.

Except for all white (with trim), I think all-one-color uniforms look bad - more like a high school team. Keep the jerseys and pants different colors.

i dont know, i kind of liked the brown over brown we wore to beat csu a couple years ago, but that is probably more because it was different than because i thought it looked good.

I agree with those that say no to black. We've all see the highschools in the state use tons of black and it just looks stupid I think, like your are ashamed of your colors and are trying to be someone else. I dont like the all white road unis either. Look like practice uniforms. I liked the white jersies and brown pants.
