I don't know much about this yet, just bought the book. Seems like a messed up situation that went on up there, any of the old time WYO fans on the board remember this?

Here was the question:

I don't know. Just their thoughts on it & how it affected their problem. As Mr. C. points out in his post, there are so many different versions & viewpoints of what happened, it's hard to tell what actually did or didn't happen. Plus, WYO was kind of on top of the world then, which many of the younger board members may not know. It's some interesting history for our conference, when no one thinks we have anyway. I know this made headlines nationwide.

I was interested in general thoughts, but thought it to be a semi-interesting topic for the board. Just kind of a throwing-it-out-there kind of thing.

What I hate the most is that BYU's racism ended up making Wyoming look bad. Didn't it all start as Wyoming players wanting to make a symbolic statement against BYU's views on minorities?
