This is the Warren Theatre. It became a make-shift hospital after the storm ended.

BTW, Snowflake, question for ya about the theatre? Was it famous prior to the tornado 'cos I kinda got the sense it was from all the news media talking when they were allowed in that area.

Sorry, I don't know why those pics posted together like that, I tried to separate them. The Warren is about a half mile south of the hosp.

I wouldn't say it was famous, per se, but it's the only theater we have like it (balcony with wait staff and drink/food service, and I think the IMAX is bigger), as far as I know, in the state.

Round 3 of severe storms is about to hit central OKC (the first two were on Wednesday & yesterday).

Man Wyokie, I see 5 tornados on the ground in Oklahoma right now. Make that 6 tornados on the ground located in Canadian (2), Nowata, Oklahoma, Payne, and Osage counties.

I'm safe here in northwest OKC. Power never went out here.

Will Rogers Airport got damaged. 2 dead (a mother and her infant). They were killed when the winds flipped over the car when she was on eastbound I-40, west of the city.

Massive damage along I-40

This is the closest I been to getting hit by a tornado since moving here in January 1991.

A wild video of how bad a tornado can be.

Good reasons why living in Laramie is a good idea. We get a tornado about once every 8 years or so.

Anyways, a bit off tangeant with the tornado thing (stay safe you guys), looks like my grandmother and her property manager will be taking a guy to court.

1. He was given an eviction notice and was supposed to be out last Wednesday.
2. Right now, he's squatting in the apartment.
3. This is his 3rd time getting an eviction notice (last 2 times, he somehow came up with the rent).
4. When told he was supposed to be out last week, he said "I didn't get 30 days notice! I think I'll take you to court!"
5. Most other renters in this situation, would have been gone by the eviction date rather than go to court.
6. Now my grandmother and her property manager have to worry about legal fees and they also had the apartment this guy is squatting in already lined up for another renter.
7. This squatter has left grocery carts from all over town in the yard, boxes of clothes left outside for at least a year, and set a dishwasher, a computer monitor, and an old tv out on the deck that I had ended up having to haul away because he doesn't do a damn thing to keep the yard in order. This includes watering the lawn. Or even, if I was watering, I asked him if he could move the water in a half hour, 1 hour later I was going by and it hadn't been moved. So I moved it and asked him if he could shut it off in about 30 minutes. He said "Yeah." Another hour later, it was still going.

Yeah, this guy has been a pain in the ass for awhile now.

My parents live in El Reno and I live a mile north of I-40 on the east side. All is well. I spent an hour in the cellar, had no power or water for like 21 hours, and we got 7 inches of rain overnight. Hopefully this is the last of the tornado bitching this season. Thanks for the sweet thoughts y'all <3

About last Friday's tornado outbreak.....it was confirmed today that the monster tornado was an F5 (same as the one on May 20 that wiped out 2 elementary schools and heavily damaged a junior high). Top speeds was 296 MPH which broke the record for highest wind speeds in recorded history set by the May 3, 1999 tornado. The weather community is stunned that two F5 tornadoes could happen within 2 weeks of each other and in the same general area. Normally you only see one F5 tornado happen within a decade.

That El Reno storm was a monster, Im glad i didnt realize how big it was that night - it was a half mile from my parents house. It destroyed a house I used to live in and an office I used to work in. so much death and destruction. heartbreaking.

I'm at teen camp at OU all week. I'm sooooooooooooo tired of these night storms, but glad they're not tornadic.

Also, dorm room beds suck. :)

Tough last few weeks. I've ended some relationships with some more than they are realizing. A few family members have pushed it far too far for me. They include my parents. They did something 25 days ago and something else 15 days ago that is so devastating to me that it changes our lives. They don't seem to even see it. Every time they try to speak to me I refuse them. There are problems with other family members as well.

And then there is this guy who I've known for years. It's hard to have a relationship with him because he is so popular and a leader with fans and followers because of a sport he played and now coaches. Last year he accepted a new job and wanted me to move with him and live together. I was even looking at properties for a while and had to come back one day and say no to the whole idea. We have a no shop talk rule because of me. And now I'm bored again. "Everyone loves you. Why should they not?"

It's so hot and humid here. I think I'm sweating all the time. I train and lose a lot of water. After a shower I sweat. While in bed I'm so hot that I start to sweat.

I'll go to Europe this year but later than usual.

No body is really talking.

I better stop there.

Softball hurt like hell tonight. First, this happened as I was chasing down a foul ball from the pitchers mound.

Normally, you have this thing called a glove, that when the ball comes in your direction, you can use this glove-thing to either knock it down, or even try to catch it. Maybe try that approach next time. :D

I was going to go the same place spin doctor? Lol

That's terrible Alyssa. It always sucks to lose people from your life.

+1

And Alyssa, I'm guilty of screwing up a bunch of friendships (LONG story) that to this day I would like to repair but can't....so I can see why you'd be quite upset with losing a bunch of friendships.

Oh, and my bitch for today.......

Could we not have any more zombie or vampire movies and T.V. shows! I've gotten sick of them.

I got the glove on it after it screeched past my arm. :) Came at a weird angle and couldn't get out of it's way to catch it.

This job would be great if it weren't for the fucking customers. I used to truly love what I did, too. Im seriously thinking of heading to the rigs or mines. Much better paycheck and less liability.

PSA: Aviation is a great career... From the outside.
