Bisonville article on Wyoming/NDSU recruits....

Grow up! Next you will be saying your dad is stronger than his dad. I was excited that Bohl is moving to be head coach at Wyoming until I read all these comments. Moving up? Really? Yes, Wyoming is FBS but NDSU has beaten several FBS teams and so have other FCS teams. Yes, Coach is moving up on the pay scale. Any coach would be stupid to pass up the chance to build up a struggling program in a higher division with an increase in pay. Do you think he would have picked Wyoming still if he was asked to coach an NFL team? Yes, you probably d
o because you are delusional. Many Bison fans will now follow Coach in Wyoming because he has become an important part of their lives. Bison fans are loyal and Coach Bohl will always be a part of NDSU no matter how amazing all the Wyoming fans are. So does it really matter when someone becomes a fan/follower? Not only did you attack NDSU football fans but then you insinuated that NDSU students were receiving a sub-standard education. Why are you so angry? NDSU fans are upset but they do understand why he is leaving. What is your problem? You truly are not a football fan if you can not appreciate all levels of play from pee wee to pro.....it is still the same game. Take a deep breath and lose the horrible attitude. The NDSU football team and it's fans are grateful to have had Bohl as their coach and wish him the best of luck.

WTF ....get out of here with this bullshit.....nothing but delusional bison fans ripping WYO......you would think you guys were worthy of joining the SEC....nobody was ripping ndsu until all the bs about "lateral move" etc. We got a great coach.....no need for this little man syndrome shit.

If WYO starts winning conf championships back to back he will probably move to a better job......but hopefully we don't act in the same manner as this.

Yeah, and with Keeton, he'll be coming off of major knee surgery. Had torn ACL and MCL. He may pull a Peyton Manning and come back better than before, or he can completely regress. Hard to know until Fall camp (he'll be cleared by then).
That's the thing a lot of people forget...Keeton may not be available until October 2014....and there is no guarantee at all he will be the same. I know Aggies fans don't want to believe it, but he could absolutely regress.

I remember a few years back before Boise's D.J. Harper tore his ACL badly....he was their starting RB...better than Doug Martin at times. Came back from that injury.....to say he was a shell of his former self is an understatement. Keeton very well may not ever be the same. That was no normal ACL tear....he messed his knee up good.

ACSs can be repaired, MCLs - not so much. He will feel the effects of the MCL the rest of his life.

League? NDSU had 5 nfl players in 2013 & head coach of Jacksonville (with 2 more next year)
Junky is right on few things, fargodome is always 20,000 sold out and loud, how was wyomings senior day crowd?
NDSU had GAMEDAY
NDSU had better coaches til you took them...hahaha.

It's all good, NDSU fans are wyoming fans now, no need to fight, but I will stick up for NDSU obviously.
Has wyoming taken 15,000 fans to a bowl game? NDSU has 3 times now (FCS title game)

Has NDSU ever gone to a Sugar Bowl, Holiday Bowl, Gator Bowl, Sun Bowl, Fiesta Bowl, Copper Bowl, Las Vegas Bowl, New Mexico Bowl, or Sun Bowl?

I didn't think so.

I've never heard of a bowl game played in a Frisco, TX soccer stadium.

I also asked my brother to pick me up some Wyoming Cowboys gear at the Scheel's sporting good store in Fargo, ND. Turns out they don't sell Wyoming gear there. They also have no plans to do so.

I think fans of the school in Fargo will remain fans of the school in Fargo. They won't become Wyoming fans due to the Pokes having a former coach of that school. Why is it that some people make up shit like that? Is it a bizarre attempt to ingratiate themselves to Wyoming fans?

That's my guess....

Oh like you are a Wyoming fan Hayduke... real funny.

Your join date is the same date as Bohl being named head coach at Wyoming. The only reason you are here is to troll the NDSU fans coming here to see what this place is like.

Yeah a real fan with such a random join date... How come not a earlier join date like you have on Sioux Sports with over 1700 posts there? Yeah such a Poke fan, more like a Sioux fan who is happy something bad has happened to NDSU.

To all the poke fans dont believe this UND troll, and I know it goes without saying but dont listen to the NDSU troll lakesbison either most of the NDSU fan base is embarrassed with how he acts on forums.

Most fans I have spoken to are happy with what Bohl has done for our team and hope he goes onto Wyoming, is very successful there, and leads you guys to some Bowl wins.

I've already given my credentials to the moderators.

Wyoming is my graduate school. If you don't believe me, who cares? Of course, most Fargo U grads probably didn't realize there was such a thing as graduate school.

I've worn brown and gold to Wyoming BB and football games. I also have worn the Sioux sweater to many University of North Dakota hockey, football and basketball game.

I'll tell you this, as I have done both here and on Siouxsports. UND/the Fargo School/SDSU/USD should have moved up to I-AA when the Montana schools went. I've cheered on UND, but I know the difference between D-I at the real D-I level, which is FBS, not FCS, and especially D-II.

Now, with one post, who is the troll?

Let's get this topic back on track and ignore the vo-tech flunkies from Fargo and their sub-division line of BS.

The fact of the matter is that Bohl will do what is best for Wyoming as far as recruiting goes. Oh, he'll have his team ready in Frisco and they'll stomp Pete Townsend State. But, when it comes to what players he thinks will help the Cowboys, he could give crap none about that school in Fargo anymore. He'll bring the talent he needs, not matter how many stars the "experts" say they have.

I was there too. The huge difference between how Wyoming travels and how NDSU travels is the tailgate at a post season game. Wyoming tailgating is virtually non-existent in Laramie, as well as in Albequerque in 2011. NDSU travels a huge tailgate contingent that would rival many of the SEC and ACC schools (I lived in Greenville, SC for several years and followed Clemson). Maybe if Wyoming can start winning it would develop, but, NDSU has definitely had the more intense crew traveling the past 3 years.

but relating that to the first point....what does a recruit care about how many tailgating fans there are?

I think it is all relative to the intensity of the fan base. The NDSU fan base is responsible for countless false starts by the opposition and an insane home atmosphere. War Memorial, being outdoors is a little tougher to get as loud, but if the Pokes can get a MWC Title, I would sure hope to see that intensity way up. I thought the crowd in 2011 was pretty tame......but then again the play of the Pokes probably contributed to that.

But, recruits could care less about tailgating.....mostly they care about facilities and how many players the team has sent to the NFL. They also don't want to play in front of no fans or no intensity.

word on the street is bohl has invited 2-3 ndsu recruits to Laramie including a big ass O Lineman!

NDSU just got a Nebraska RB Transfer King Frazier today, so personally I don't care, take a few, NDSU has plenty!

Bohl and NDSU have agreed to draw the line at COMMITTED recruits. Any recruits that have not committed are free game.
